wow since 2018?? That's really long. I've been waiting since 2020. :( It affected my life severely. Our work permit has expiration date and many good companies don't want to hire with expiration date. I am master student and I can't apply for loan. Something has to be done for students so we can receive loan from FAFSA.
Can I start the renewal process of my EAD 180 days before expiration? I am ASAP Member, and I would like to renew the EAD myself because my attorney is charging me $950 on top of the $410.

In general ASAP recommends submitting a renewal work permit application 3 to 6 months before the expiration date.
