He is from West Africa Liberia and I believe the lawyer who did his original documents has moved away and now he does not know what to do at this point … very disappointing
Hi Jim, my husband’s family also has a pending Asylum case since 2015. However, I married my Husband in Aug, 2020 and we filled the i130 in January 2021. It was approved in December 2021 and I applied for Adjustment of status and he got his fingerprint done. We received I-693 deficiency notice in Nov 2022. Why is this process taking so long as a US citizen? Do you know when to expect the interview? I can’t get past the Uscis robot.
My sister came in the US as K-1 visa, however, the petitioner decided not to marry my sister. We filed asylum in 2016 and were still waiting for interview. My mother petitioned my sister in 2007 as F2B category, however my mother died in 2013. I filed a Human Revalidation for my sister in 2016 and it was approved in Oct 2022. Because my sister came to the US as K-1 visa, she cannot file an adjustment of status here in the US and has to go back to the Philippines for the visa interview. We are afraid that if goes back to the Philippines that her life is endangered especially if the US Embassy denies her visa and if takes forever for the Embassy to process her visa. What are the chances that her interview for the F2B will be waived? Thank you very much.
