- So I went on a huge Japanese stationery haul in Sapporo to stock up on my favorite pens and test new stationery for my bullet journal videos!
I test about 90 pens in this video including Tombow dual brush pens in 43 colors, Tombow fudenosuke hard and soft tips, Zebra mildliner brush pen, Copic multiliners and many more!
I swatch every pen and rate them out of 5 stars so you know what's best! These pen tests are my own opinion and are only tested for bullet journal use.

For the Zebra Sarasa, try a larger size. You might like the .5 or the .7 more.

Its funny how the perfect pen for someone may be someone else's worst nightmare, the zebra sarasa 0.3 is my go-to gel pen, I use it all the time for journaling, yet you didn't like it, I love our differences.
Some of these pens I have never used before! Thank you again my Patreon supporters! This is just my opinion on what works best with bullet journals! I hope you enjoy! :)
Try a different size in the zebra Sarasa like 0.5 and you may like it better
I think it zebra sarasa is too fine I personally don't like the 0.3 and 0.4 but I love the 0.5 and 0.7 sizes

Now I use 0.5 I would suggest starting with nib sizes in the middle just to be on the safe side
Uni makes the best pens but sometimes they leak too much and takes a long time to dry but overall feel uni is the perfect for me
everything about this video was perfect 👌 i usually dont sit through hauls but this was so organized and zen! keep up the good work

Juice Up 0.3 Sepia and Black are my favorite. I use sepia color to do my line art/sketches.
For Zebra Sasara, try the 0.5 it's super comfortable to write with and very smooth.

This type of video is one of my top faves to watch so when I saw this, I freaked 😂! The setup is unlike anything I've seen and the whole video was really informative and pretty... btw I have the uniball signo white gel and it truly is amazin 👌

if you're looking still for a good .38 pen, my go-to is the classic G2 .38. It took forever until I found it in a store, but I love it so much.
hey! i wanted to let you know about the sarasa pens! i hate the 0.3 as well but the 0.5 and 0.7 are never scratchy (unless its almost out of ink) and some of my favorites! i can get them for about $0.50 at my local stationary store but i'm not sure about anywhere else... the zebra clickart are always superior though (cause they're about $0.85 but worth iiittt!) love ya and good luck

I LOVE my Stabilos. I first tried them when I started coloring mandalas, and went from two or three to full sets in multiple sizes. Very, very little bleed or shadow, too.
They do feel nice!
My recent fav pen is ZIG CLEAN COLOR DOT by Kuretake. You can dot ~from small one to big one depending on your pen pressure~, and do lettering easily. I'd say it's easy to make smooth hand writing for beginners. Try this pen if you have a chance!

This how I usually like stationary haul video's, less talking & more about the product & leaving notes as text in the videos, I mean I don't mind talking sometimes but it makes me lose interest sometimes. I really like your editing its very nice

I think personally for the Tombow play dot pen, as long as you don't have a heavy hand, and don't overlap the ink it should be fine to use. But if you know you're going to be heavy-handed or want a more secure colouring, then probably not.
I've been looking for a roll of individual flower stickers. You got a lot of nice stuff.

If you like a needle point, try the Uni-ball Signo Needle UM-151ND-38. It's my current favorite workhorse pen. If you like the Copic Multiliners, try the SP version. It's aluminum and refillable. Thanks for the video.

You should try thicker nib sizes for the 0.3 pens, because basically all 0.3 pens are scratchy
The price difference between where you bought them and the Midwest (USA) is so interesting. Near me Copics are ~$9.00 but then you can get 96 tomboy dual brush pens for ~$135
I have the Muji. The 0.05 is the best
✍🖊 My favourite pen for Bullet Journal is a Pilot Hi-Tecpoint V5 (0.5), with a cartridge system. Black liquid ink. It is just perfect for a everyday use 👌

Copic is marker dedicated to coloring (mostly manga artist using it), it's not really a good choice for journaling 😂
How’d you get copies for $4? I always see them for $8 and nothing less😭

Why did I even watch this! I'd just get jealous because I can't afford these! And even if I had the money to, there's not a lot of places near me that has a lot of amazing stationery! And also, my parents wouldn't approve the fact that I'm going to spend a lot of money only for a lot of pens, even if I'm going to use my own money😢😢😢

Yeah, copics are made more for coloring than bullat journaling, I wasn't expecting them to work at all. They are considered one of the best markers among youtube artists for coloring. They blend well, you can create a nice gradient but you NEED proper marker paper. Not the ideal markers for bullet journals
