    Your videos are very indepth. Lightburn gives settings for a rotary attachment are there any for laserGRBL?

      Not really. You can enable Z-axis

    Your video has been very helpful!
    Now, if I can bother you one more time:
    I have the 3018Pro with 5.5w laser. I’ve pretty much figured out power settings, etc. My question is this; how do align the laser for my project? For example, I have a sign that is approximately 150mm X 70mm, with the 70mm being the width (X Axis). I want to engrave from top to bottom on the Y axis.
    I’m using Laser GRBL software.

      Use the perimeter button to line it up. You may also try making a jig for the lower left corner.

    Hello
    Thanks for the great explanation on laser GRBL. I have a 0.5W laser with a TTL control board. I connected the TTL pins to the Spindle enable on the CNC shield V3.0 and ground. This keeps the laser ON all the times when the machine is powered ON. Is this connection correct? How to fix this?

    • @brakthehun
      @brakthehun  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Connect the ttl to the white pin next to the Z+ pin 8f you're using the GRBL shield and using GRBL1.1
      I will eventually have a video explaining why.

      Try typing $3=1 in to your console then restarting the machine.

    I'm confused with this entire video because if you want to reset your lasers home position, you just move it to where you want by using the arrows on the left of the screen, then set your zero position with the "Set Zero Point (G92)" button - the one with the globe and the location tack on it. No?

    Can you direct me to the video you show us how to program the home button? When I push it, it goes to bottom left corner but doesn't stop. Makes this awful sound and I shut it off real fast lol

    Hello my friend
    Thank you for your explanation, that is an effort to help
    Please help me in adjusting the axes of the LED laser machine. I made it manually, but the sizes of the hubs on it are different from the type of stepper motor. I need help in adjusting the axes in the distance with the movement
    I mean, every millimeter is how many steps, and thank you

    Hello There is someone who knows why a CNC machine I built does not cut or burn circles or squares and drawings symmetrically.
    Oval and rectangular: I use Arduino Shield and ugsplatform
    Thanks

    • @brakthehun
      @brakthehun  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      That is typically from your $$ settings not being set up correctly

    Sir i have neja laser 20 w how can leser speed up in configuration grbl
    Coz the leser high and wood can not be engraving its cut the wood or bamboo and engraving very deep

    • @brakthehun
      @brakthehun  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      $110 and $111 are the max speeds. I think the NEJE can be set to:
      $110=12000
      $111=8000
      If those don't work right,, then decrease the numbers.

    complimenti sei un grandissimo nelle spiegazioni grazie per i tuoi video

  • @svenoliver8311
    @svenoliver8311 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Thanks for your videos! Super helpful. I watch them whilest waiting for my second Arduino/Shield combo (killed the first one by beeing stupid I guess).
    First question: I use a Neje 40W and it came with a handy interface/module that shows power sent to the diode in %, but even 0.5% still burns wood right away. The module can tune the power all the way down to 0.01% in MANUAL mode, but will start at 1% (or probably around 0.5%) when in TTL-input mode (1 of 255 max).
    So, could an S-command be lower than 1 (0.01?)? Or should I try to change the max settings from 255 to 1000?
    Second question: When you update parameters via the command line after reading them ($$), are the new parameters saved to the controller or will it loose these updates after a reset?
    Cheers from Switzerland

    • @brakthehun
      @brakthehun  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You may need to increase your $30 to 1024 or so.
      The S command has to have full numbers

    • @brakthehun
      @brakthehun  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Those parameters are saved to the controller. They will stay even when powered down or even when another computer connects to it.
      You can change your $30 to a larger range like 1000 and the give it an S1 command making 1/1000th power instead of 1/255th power.
