thanks to this video i just got my 1/2 uv setup today. was using a 5w simulator to the one on your far left . the uv is different in night and day . your other video where you’re comparing the Uv to the 3.5 w . very informative. thanks

You certainly can. As long as the materia Absorbs the blue lighy,, it will cut. You can cut black and red acrylics well. It can cut yellow and Grey acrylics with time. It won't cut clear / white / blue acrylic.

Which color laser safety glasses should we use for 2.5W 450nm blue laser ??
Yellow tinted usually. "Blue blockers" for night driving work great for the lasers.
Are you using stock lenses that come with the diodes or do you swap them out with higher quality lenses/barrels?
I just use stock. I might try an upgraded lense if I was sure it would fit.
