Now to work on all that with coping! I don't have a nice 3 foot wall at the home park, so this was a lot of fun.

@@theaverageoldguy Yeah, that would be awesome if you can get it on coping. Got back on the blades today and did quite well. Just reviewed and warmed up, but getting more consistent and confident. My goal tomorrow is to soul grind a low rail and also a small ledge. Bringing the skateboard out on Wednesday

@@merlebump5328 Thats awesome! Seth and I hit a DIY park last weekend that had a low rail and ledges and we had a blast. It was my first real grind on a park rail. I hope to have that video out next week sometime. My knee is really causing me issues lately and jumping on the low stuff is the best I can do.

nice pit stop on your trip back . good thing you're wearing pads. Those trucks are squeaky 🤣what's your set up and size of deck ?

Everything I own is squeaky it seems, my inline skates are worse! The board is a GX1000 8.5 inch deck with Indy 159's on it. I think the wheels are bones 56mm, but they came off an old board and I am not 100% sure on the size. I really like the setup, but am looking at going smaller, say 8.3 and see how that feels. I have small feet at US size 9 and big boards just don't feel good. My son has an 8.125 that feels great, but just has too much concave, I prefer a flatter board myself.

@@theaverageoldguy I was thinking maybe you should go wider up to 9 . It helps in the bowl. I wear a size 9.5 I'm using 8.875 it's good for bowl and mini ramps and 8 can ollie 👍

I have tried the wider boards and just don't like the feel of them under my feet. I kind of like feeling both sides of my feet hanging off the board a little, maybe because I grew up with tiny skinny boards in the 70's!

@@theaverageoldguy whatever feels best for you. Maybe the smaller board you can grip better with your feet over the edge
