      I'm glad that isn't me. IDGAF. I'm currently a nurse and a few years from being a DR. I have lost jobs for my authenticity. IDGAF.... I will not lie or conform to make employees, employers, or family happy. I say what's on my mind and people respect it, and alot hate it. Do the same folks. Be you and people will gravitate naturally!

    TOP 5 REGRETS OF DYING PEOPLE:
    1) I WISH I'D HAD THE COURAGE TO LIVE A LIFE TRUE TO MYSELF, NOT THE LIFE OTHERS EXPECTED OF ME.
    2) I WISH I HADN'T WORKED SO HARD.
    3) I WISH I'D HAD THE COURAGE TO EXPRESS MY FEELINGS.
    4) I WISH I HAD STAYED IN TOUCH WITH MY FRIENDS.
    5) I WISH I HAD LET MYSELF BE HAPPIER.

    • @wingman4717
      @wingman4717 27 วันที่ผ่านมา +9

      Thanks for sharing. You can be one of the boys and be yourself, or play the game to get ahead while not exactly being yourself. Such a double edge sword. Easy to say on your death bed “wish I didn’t work so hard” or “wish I never cared what other people think”. Yes, we’ll all have regrets, but it’s tough to literally not give a crap while trying to get ahead that involves people who have an impact on your life. If I truly was myself, not really giving a damn, no way I’d be where I’m at in life. Call me an asshole, but that’s life. It’s not fair.

    Raise your hands all you people who are low in “agreeableness”. We are not afraid to be ourselves and say what we think. And sometimes people don’t like us, but that trait means we also don’t care that much. 😂

      In America we have outlaw culture... Most of them live hard, don't care what other people think, do what they want, and live by their own rules... The outlaw doesn't care what you think...
      "criminals frequently are victims, outlaws never are. Indeed, the first step toward becoming a true outlaw is the refusal to be victimized. All people who live subject to other people's laws are victims. People who break laws out of greed, frustration, or vengeance are victims. People who overturn laws in order to replace them with their own laws are victims. ( I am speaking here of revolutionaries.) We outlaws, however, live beyond the law. We don't merely live beyond the letter of the law-many businessmen, most politicians, and all cops do that-we live beyond the spirit of the law. In a sense, then, we live beyond society. Have we a common goal, that goal is to turn the tables on the 'nature' of society. When we succeed, we raise the exhilaration content of the universe. We even raise it a little bit when we fail.
      When war turns whole populations into sleepwalkers, outlaws don't join forces with alarm clocks. Outlaws, like poets, rearrange the nightmare.
      The trite mythos of the outlaw; the self-conscious romanticism of the outlaw; the black wardrobe of the outlaw; the fey smile of the outlaw; the tequila of the outlaw and the beans of the outlaw; respectable men sneer and say 'outlaw'; young women palpitate and say 'outlaw'. The outlaw boat sails against the flow; outlaws toilet where badgers toilet. All outlaws are photogenic. 'When freedom is outlawed, only outlaws will be free.' There are outlaw maps that lead to outlaw treasures. Unwilling to wait for mankind to improve, the outlaw lives as if that day were here. Outlaws are can openers in the supermarket of life.”
      ― Tom Robbins, Still Life with Woodpecker

    I’m glad Theo’s real - and he can be silly, sure; but serious when he needs to. A dude I could talk to for ages, I’m glad he’s capable of having the intellectual capacity to confront extremely hard topics like this. It’s philosophical, really, contemplating the end of life and your journey before that point.
    Everyone needs to do their best to live without regrets.
    You’re not missing out on partying and serial-sex; you’re missing out on making bad decisions.
    Stay the right path, and don’t fuck around because “it’s cool”.
