Something that helped me really understand foot pressure was focusing on it on my snatch deadlifts and snatch pulls. Both are great for this since you don’t have to worry about getting under the bar.
how do you know this dawg is a real Weightlifter and knows what he's talking about? right. he gets out of breath from just talking with a barbell in hand. me too buddy. I actually only have to look at a bar and I am already out of breath. I should really do some gpp in the next couple decades.
Dozer Diet: "Pre-workout in the morning, pre-workout in the evening, pre-workout at suppertime." 😆 Thank you for the excellent content, and promotions. 🙏👍
This video really helps me keep focused on the basics. There are so many ques flying around that sometimes you can just stare at the barbell and an encyclopedia is running through your head.
I was wondering if there is anything involving technique being incorrect/wrong in regards to shoulder dislocation happening during the catch? Nothing in the shoulder is torn and it always pops right back into place, It has happened 2-3 times at this point and seeing as I haven't been able to find an actual answer I have just stopped doing the movement for now. I talked to my PCP and they basically said I can never do anything that involves having weight overhead but I hate accepting that without trying everything else first. I haven't been able to find anything to help the issue besides some rehab/mobility exercises and stretches and was wondering if anyone has any advice on the matter moving forward. Great Video as always, keep it up! Thanks!!
You're going to need a professional Physical/Sports Therapist. My brother had the same problem when he swam butterfly and therapy and rest fixed it. There are some problems worth paying professionals for because treatment will be cheaper than surgery.
Are you expecting someone who has more experience or possibly less experienced people? For instance, I do crossfit but come from a general weightlifting (not oly lifts) background. My current bests are a 205 lb snatch and 305 c&j. I definitely have more in the tank with better form, though. I'm around Zack's size at 6'4" 245lbs.
My coach continues to say “finish your pull” but it’s just not connecting the dots. I do feel I’m diving under the bar uncontrollably. I applied for the coaching, hoping to hear from The Dozer.
