I have a blouse with a large floral print - it's gorgeous! It has a navy background and I pretty much always wear it with a navy skirt or trousers so, apart from the flowers, its all a similar tone. I find it works for me. I'd style your cardigan with items of the same colour family as the dominant tone in the print. ❤
Great bag comparison. Capris work for me at almost 5'4" with a short torso and long legs. Shorts and the possibility of sticking to a plastic chair scares the crap out of me! 😳 Great video and gorgeous puppy! 😊
You made me laugh out loud with so many of your comments. Love the use of your dog Barley to show the ridiculously large bags that are trending. I am petite too and would never wear them. Capris and long bermuda shorts are awful. No thanks to those too!
Oh good, glad to hear it gave you a laugh-I love trends but definitely think they’re optional and as such they should be taken with a healthy pinch of salt and a sense of humour :)
I've enjoyed your comments. Could you do a video on summer looks that work for petite curvy types? You've suggested that mini shorts (shudder), Bermuda shorts (do I need to add an extra 10 pounds there?), and Capri pants (really, I thought these were full length pants in my size) are all bad ideas. So, what's a girl to do when it's 38.5 C and 100% humidity? (Yes, it actually does that here...) Staying indoors isn't possible all day every day...
Thanks, great idea! I showed a dress in my spring style rules video here bit.ly/4944sUN that I think is a perfect summer dress for us petites. It’s made of cotton. I wore a very similar dress when I was in Mexico last year-38 Celsius and 95% humidity! So I think this dress is a good one ❤️
While I do agree generally, I do think that you can do most of these as a petite, but only as long as things are in proportion! I know a few influencers who are petite, and you dont really notice it, because their clothing is in proportion to their body! So instead of a maxi bag that you could hide everything and the kitchen sink in, one that is a couple of sizes smaller would work a lot better. The same with floral prints - I hate small ditsy prints, but love medium sized ones. Pedal pushers, imho, don't really suit most people, with the exception of Audrey Hepburn!
All fashion is,is designers and shops parting people with their hard earned money to make them richer! A never ending merry go round of rehashed styles.Better to find your own style, buy good pieces and kiss goodbye to fads and fashion and jump of the merry go round.
I have a gorgeous large rose print cardigan but I haven’t figured out how to style it without it overwhelming my figure.

Loooooved the Barley example 😂
Thank you :) He kinda steals the show! 🥰

Sticking to a plastic chair 🤣 I never thought of it from that perspective but you’re 100% right!
Excellent video, thank you for taking the time to educate us shorties. ❤
I’m 5ft 4 and 3 quarters and I agree with everything you’ve said.😊
That’s funny. I always claim that extra little length too.
Yes… fellow short curvy person here 😅 though I look good in bermuda’s and are glad they are back 😂
You are lucky! I love how bermudas look on some people but I definitely don’t like them on me 😭
