I just bought this exact same bike (year and all) for my son tonight. He (10yrs old) got finished building his own dirt bike 2 months ago, started with an Apollo frame. Bought every piece (EVERY PEICE) new and added it to the frame till he completed his own 125. Last Wednesday evening some A hole came onto our property and stole his dirt bike. I literally went to work and cried because of what happened. And to a 10 yr old kid at that. So I did my research. And decided on this bike. Oh, don't worry about him being only 10. He's 5'1" adult 7.5 shoe and 28/26 pants. Yes he's 10 I swear. Built just like Zack Thomas (Dolphins). And to think I'm only 5'11". But all in all. My little man deserves this bike. I felt like he was being punished for absolutely nothing at all. You have fun with it bro. I'm sure he will!! #bikelife #looktwice
I got this bike when I was 13 I was 4' 11"ish I'm 15 and I'm 5' 6" now its loads of fun, plenty of power for my flat yard and it's crazy reliable I ride it fast and rough, never had any problems, just the normal routine maintenance. But yeah your lil dude will have plenty of fun on this bike for years.

Use Mothers aluminum polish on the white plastic. I know it sounds werid, but it works. You won't be sorry. Also, you shouldn't twist in the oil level cap. Just set it in there and pull it back out. You might be running too low oil. Twist it in only after you have checked it. Those air cooled Honda engines are practically bullet proof!
The correct way to check the oil on that bike Is to pull the dip stick out wipe it off and just stick it back in don't screw it back in to check it just simply stick it in till it stops then pull it out and that's the oil level and it helps to have the bike level you dip stick
