Hey Ashley, I had a cocker spaniel for about 12 years.The cologne spray that they used at the groomers would irritate him and dry out his skin. I told them to just cut, wash only. I use to put👼organic oil on him that I used on myself and my son for sensitive skin about once a week. Make sure not to put a-lot on and massage it in really good. Then wipe him with a towel lightly so you want wipe it off,but enough that it want get on the furniture.I used a product from the baby section, and even if he groomed himself it didn’t effect him, but every dog is different. I can’t remember the name of product it’s been along time. He is forever in the sunshine now. If you try this make sure it doesn’t have any dyes,perfume, no irritants. That left his coat so shiny and hydrated. I did this base on the weather as well. If you decide to try this the more you do it you will find a routine that works for you guys. I brushed him everyday to get all the dead hair off, for the new hair to grow. Some cockers not all are prone to have allergies. Their hair can sometimes hold on to the elements because of the thick under coat some may have. Im not a DR. JUST A LOVER OF ANIMALS. Always talk with Stellas vet like I did with his vet,to do whats best for our pets health and care every dog is different. You don’t want it to go from bad to worst taking unsolicited advice including mine.I’m sharing what worked for my GUY. I hope this helps. She is such a gorgeous dog watching her is bitter sweet. I was told by a make up artist that you only need two shades of foundation: darkest and lightest. Then you mix it together to match your skin tone. Maybe this technique would make more sense to you since your shade changes all the time. ☺️

When my dog was having skin issues I started giving him fish oil and it really helped - especially when they’re itching. Just thought I would pass that along :)

My dog had the same problem, turned out it was her food so I switched her to a salmon/fish oil based kibble. Worked out great!

Feels on the foundation shades 😂 not sure if you have it there but over in Australia Bondi sands tan is the absolute greatest. If you use the ultra dark you only have to leave it for like 4 hours but it does get on your clothes 😂
