I liked the dont buy something just because its a good deal tip! Ive spent AND wasted so much money. I tell myself now , DO NOT BUY IT unless you LOVE it. Space is limited and its valuable real estate in your closet ! And if i dont wear it right away it goes back before the time lapses for the return policy ! Learned the hard way but its a nice reminder!

These are really good tips! I've been telling a lot of my friends about know what your clothes are made of that way you can spend your money wisely. I personally like spending my money on more "expensive" accessories. Mainly because my weight right now is fluctuating ( I've lost some weight), and I know some clothes I will not fit me anymore, but my bag will alway look good on me. I actually invested my money is something I will enjoy for a good amount of time.

with 'dry clean only' tags - most shops use them as a catch all guideline for the garments; despite whether the piece actually requires dry cleaning. usually you can wash certain 'dry clean only' pieces with a gentle detergent on a gentle wash cycle and then line/hang dry not in the dryer. for certain pieces that have jewels or other delicate outer stitching I use a lingerie wash bag or a cotton sateen or silk pillow case to prevent too much agitation. I have never ruined a piece yet.

A tip I always use is shop out of season. they're extremely marked down and I find awesome pieces during those times too
