😊😊 it's expensive foods court in the Mall...it's normal,,because they paying expensive taxes as well !!hygiene and clean for sure ! but if you eat the local Soto Betawi on the street side/small store/small warung....it's more tasty...cheaper...clean and hygiene(not sure),,,but for local peoples...it's no problems....nothing happens to our stomach !!but don't get wrong....,,the Super Duper rich Indonesian people...they're use to eat in street foods as well,,and nothing bad happens to them 😊😊
Yeah for sure street food is better for that local Indonesian experience!

The modern vibes of SCBD are amazing! I recently visited Jakarta and was blown away by the blend of modernity and tradition. Documented it all on my channel-such a cool experience! The food inside the malls is quite expensive, but there's a stark difference in price when you try the authentic local street food outside. Have fun, mate!

Above Pacific Place Mall, you'll find a luxury hotel up there. And David Becham and his family used to stay there when he visit Jakarta. One of my friend told me story when her friend was in a lift, and David Becham enter the same lift and left him in shock due nervous.

Like you, I'm a Muslim from the UK and been Jakarta before and it is amazing. In fact Malaysia and Indonesia are my favourite Muslim countries that I have visited and I'm going again in July for my 7th visit to Malaysia and 4th visit to Indonesia). In terms of going to SCBD from Bundaran Hl MRT, you would nornally stop at Istore which was a stop before the one you exited.
Central Jakarta can match the likes of Dubai, KL, Bangkok, Doha and Singapore, and I have been to all those cities as well.

@@AmirMalikTravel Brother, a lot of British Muslims go to Turkey, Morocco, UAE, Pakistan and Qatar but not many explore Malaysia, Indonesia, Zanzibar, Maldives and small country of Brunei. Even Thailand has a good Muslim community and so does Singapore. In my opinion, Malaysia and Indonesia has so much to offer - amazing people, great food, amazing religious sites especially the grand masjids in this region, incredible beaches, stunning cities, jungles, rainforests, mountains, amazing fauna and flora, and so much more

Be careful eating street food in Indonesia because the majority of them live in slums with no proper disposal system and easily get food poisoning. If you get sick, you are usually blamed and accused of being poor and having no money. That's their behavior, it's difficult to accept fault but will find a way to blame you.
