Just for your information "Soto (soup) Betawi" just enounce as the most delicious soup int the world and number 2 1 is soto "Rawon" from Surabaya. So both the most delicious sop in the world are from Indonesia.

I think that thing that looked like garlic might have been a variety of garlic, just a different shape, but it may also have been a shallot, another relative of the onion. That bean with the red/brown markings is called a Borlotti bean. It's an Italian variety.
