Growing malls all over Jakarta are giving new impressions that Jakarta is turning its page into a more modern and luxurious stage in history.
I explore the Sudirman Central Business District (SCBD) in the heart of Jakarta, Indonesia.
This area is known for its modern infrastructure and finance centers, including the Indonesian stock exchange and the Pacific Place Mall.

I was impressed by the cleaner who speak english very well: "may be at the fourth floor.." he said.. There are many big malls in Jakarta, one of them is "Pondok Indah Mall" which is 4 malls integrated into one: PIM 1, PIM 2, PIM 3 and Street Gallery become 1 big mall, much bigger than Pacific Mall.
If I go to Indonesia again, I will give you recommendations for delicious food

FYI : Pacific Place has been open for public since 2007 - it has considered an OLD Mall coz already over decades yes Jakarta got plenty more of Luxury middle upper malls such as Plaza Indonesia (the best high end tenants), Grand Indo (Huge), Senayan City, Plaza Senayan, Pondok Indah Mall, Mall Kelapa Gading, Puri Indah Mall. All those malls consider high end based on the brands - The rest malls just middle to lower even though some of them have huge size above average common malls like Taman Anggrek, Mall of Indonesia, Mall Artha Gading and many more..
Actually, Kidzania is a role playing playground for kids. They emulate the worker in many industries, like food industries, beverages, bartenders, operators, also pilots and teachers. They assume the role of those worker, and do whatever needed for the worker in their field.
Pacific mall is not the biggest one, it is among a smaller ones in fact, but surely one of the most luxurious one. You can try to go to Central Park mall or Grand Indonesia if you want a big mall.

I live in Jakarta not far from SCBD, in my opinion SCBD is too formal, because it's a place where people work, if you want to hang out, Blok M, Kemang and Senopati are famous nightlife places.@@nativetytravel

Pasific place is not the biggest mall in Jakarta, still there are many bigger mall than P place, you can visit GI mall, PIM, kota Kasablanka, central park and many more, but actually the biggest mall in Indonesia is not in Jakarta, but in surabaya, just visit there next time.
