I barely saw this generation of the Talon. I lived in the midwest in the mid-90s when the first-gen was common, and those Talons were everywhere. But then I moved to CA and out there everybody bought the Mitsubishi versions, so for the 2nd gen cars all I saw were Eclipses.
I disagree with going with a manual transmission on this car. Automatic transmission is required for my wife and I. The manual transmission gets NO better fuel mileage..
This and the 97-98 is my FAV design of the Eagle Talon.
All the Diamond Star base cars were popular in my high school, as well as Geos. I did not realize it performed so well!
