I read you & I watched the video, Alvy. To answer your question, yes, I always organize my cards. When able per every sideloader binder, after using sideloading sleeve liners & using ETB sleeves afterwards, I proceed to organize my cards in numerical order while keeping each pocket filled with one card like this: • Pocket 1, non-reverse holo • Pocket 2, reverse holo • so on. As a collector & player, all my master collection singles come first, then I work on my playset binders afterwards, then I try to sell my spare bronzers in mass bulk; my silvers in sparing bulk; my goldies, platties, & black-labelz in singles.
Literally just started getting into Pokemon because of my 6 year old son! He just started watching the original series on Netflix and we bought his first set of cards. Now I want to organize the cards we got into a binder! Thanks for showing us how to organize it.
at the moment i am very new to Pokémon organizing. I used to collect and buy the cards quite a bit, however, my main downfall was not having a place to store each card. I have very recently come to the conclusion that I need to acquire a Pokémon card binder! you've helped very much sir, thank you for your time and for your efforts. you truly did teach me a lot, God bless, dont stress.
Usually if it’s a big binder or a binder for a set I order it through number or type depending if it’s in the same set. However.. i store my duplicate hits in a 2x2, 2x1 or 1x1 binder and just order that in how cool they look in my opinion. Then it’s easier to bring binders around for card shops that do trading and stuff
thats a great idea! if I'm completing a set, usually I don't take those binders out so I usually also have a trade binder where I store duplicates and extras to take around as well.
thanks man just got back into the hobby and the way you organized your cards are legit thank you going to use this , I’m working on 151, and gearing up for next month
Wow! Thanks for this. I just started getting into Pokemon TCG. And unlike when I was a kkd where I get 2-3 pack throughout the year, I realized as an adult, I can afford openong more booster packs, boxes, and stuff but no sure way to organize all my pool of card. This has been helpful. Trying to complete Obsidian Flames. ❤
@@cloudlockheart93Something id recommend is getting a bigger binder so you dont have to put 2 cards (normal and reverse) in one slot, and you can actually put them in different slots side by side

I LOVED THIS VIDEO ALVY! 🤩 Super satisfying to watch and I love how you organize your binder! 💖 My dream is to one day have a Cosmic Eclipse masterset, and I'm gonna follow your example! 🥰 That binder is stunning btw! 💚
just found this video and the way you organize them by type (was doing numerical per set to a binder..) is great. double sleeving is something i have not done since gen1 (back when i collected all 151) and finally started again with the newer sets. wanna grab the older ones but that will come with time. i guess doing it by type would be better since my binder currently holds 320 cards. i guess it'll fill up easier then just my first 98 s/v set that i have. currently missing slots because i don't have a few pokemon and it looks gross. typing organizing would be 100% better. the energy card setup is a nice touch. energies are so easy to come by and placing them face down when you don't have the holo is a nice touch too. subbed bro, keep up the great work!
thank you so much for watching!!! I’m glad you enjoyed and found it helpful 😃😃 ..yea energies is the most we get so why not use them in a creative way 😇😇
Just building out my first binder(Paldean Fate), curious do you ever binder up your top sleeve cards? I grabbed a binder that holds top sleeves, but with this set it just wont fit them all....Thanks and great video! Happy Hunting.
I just Got my first binder and my pokemon cards now lose the risk of getting lost because they always get lost now they wouldn't get lost I organized them by color and I wanted to see how you organize it
Hi, how would you store or place the folder ? Flat down or vertically? I saw some videos of ppl having bent cards due to the strain on the binder's spine. But also some ppl having curved cards when folder is place flat down. Was wondering what is the best position for album storage.
I store my ultra pro binders vertically in a bookshelf. I have never had a problem with my cards curving, although I've heard that happens when there is a lot of humidity in the environment where you have your cards stored.
Hi! I’m new to collecting pokemoncards so I’m now collecting both Crown Zenith and Paradox Rift. I bought a binder for both so I wanna try to get the complete set. I’m just wondering which cards I’d put in the binder and which aren’t important to put in. So do I put a holo and a reversed holo in my binder or just a normal card non-holo and a reversed holo? I really liked your video! Already helped a lot!
glad you enjoyed my video! for your binder it's really up to you what you want to fill it up with, all elite trainer boxes come with a player's guide so you can follow the checklist, that is what I use to add the cards to my binder.
this video was very helpful for me, since i just started sorting out all my pokemon cards that i have. should i have sorted them earlier on ? yes, but i didnt think of that back then years ago. Also i wanted to point out that double sleeving a card like the oddish normal and holo will possibly damage them due to friction of the cards. i know that might not be 100% true but i wanted to ask if its also okay to just store them normally, without putting two cards in one sleeve. Im apologizing for my bad english and grammar, im working on that. Thanks to for the tips, im gonna use them for tommorow when my sleeves, toploaders and Binders arrive. Also im gonna sub cuz why not :D
I’m new at collecting. Is it safe to put cards back to back in sleeves? A few people told me not to put more than one card in a sleeve and then in the binder. They said something about it stretching it out and the cards rubbing against each other? I’m just trying to figure out what the best way to store the cards
I appreciate you for watching my video. as far as the double cards in a sleeve, if you're using a loose penny clear sleeve, both cards will be protected just fine in your binder.
@@supramace4338 maybe I didn't explain properly, sorry about that. but yes, if you look at minute 10:25 of the video, you'll notice Zarude and Calyrex are both holo cards that ive sleeved up. the reason you dont sleeve up a holo by itself is because those cards also come in reverse, so the reverse AND the holo are both back to back inside the penny sleeve. hopefully that makes sense. why not sleeve the holo cards? please let me know so I don't make the mistake of sleeving them
you do sleeve them up, just not by themselves. you sleeve them up the same way you sleeve up a common and reverse back to back.
@@elevenAlvy does it not mess up the holo cards? So it is safe to sleeve them?
@@elevenAlvy in the video you said "so you don't want to sleeve up the holos, and you'll see why in a minute"

We cannot see the normal oddish😅
hahaha I promise it's behind the reverse holo oddish 🙏🏼😅
Why no sleeve on the holo card ? I missed it
you do sleeve a holo, just not on its own. so I explain that; since a regular holo also comes with a common version in the set, you sleeve both back to back to add them to your binder.

@@elevenAlvy Awesome!
Why do you prefer 12 pockets over 9 pockets binder?
simply because they hold more cards.
