Nice! Just curious; could you have backed into the warehouse? Some shippers allow that & some don’t. I guess the lady & her kid like playing in the snow. 😂 Safe Travels!

when things are slow and cheap theyre slow and cheap everywhere. right now were not in the best times in expediting either. waiting for 2-3 days sometimes for a load.

pick your brain for a sec. I live in Michigan drove a semi for many years. I have been thinking about transitioning to cargo freight being I can't drive a semi anymore. my question is, there is a ford dealership near me that offers commercial leasing, Unlimitied miles... but a little costly. approx. 1000 a month. but would be 100% write off. if you get a chance let me know what you think. I've been off since last April need to get back on the road again.

We dont work with rental vans or leased vans....needs to be owned by the driver. And many other companies have the same rules, you might want to check whos hiring and what their van rules are about leasing and dimensions as well. Companies have dims requirements as well. We only work with extended and high roof vans.

Just my two cents. That delay is a sign of how sickly and unhealthy many people are becoming recently in us.
Everything seems slow even though shipping costs are lower right now. Produce prices are relatively low, except a lot of it is rotten, so worthless. In Wisconsin, 100% the tomatoes at Trader Joes and Woodmans Market were rotten the last time I looked (two stores in Wisconsin granted I only check one store of each). No non-moldy onions available. Salsa is on hold. God help us!
Praying spring may bounce things back.

You noticed that too? Outdated past best if used date. I'm sending a food sample packet back to a company that turned into a chemical taste/smell. Another case, a perishable fruit drink was 3/06 on 3/24. I went back, they had to clear shelf. Too late for me. One swig already, got the squirts 🤮.
I love blueberries, but hint of molding at times. Watermelon chunks, we all know it gets mushy and turns quickly. I know it's almost impossible for them to keep on top of it, but for public health and safety, you've got to do the right thing. We travel the country, grab n go, gotta read those dates, and carefully check products! Stay well!

I don't mind to pay to get the knowledge that I need. I had wasted so much time and money thru trials and errors .

Knowledge is always good. Sometimes just to rehash the basics. But when it comes to expediting, my multifaceted life's careers in many other fields, Expediting is a no brainer. I've never seen an occupation where if you're walking around blindly but getting paid fairly, you can easily make enjoyable earnings on basic common sense skills.
The problem in the industry are the hidden scams, multiple hands in the pot and increasing ways to take your money. Remember, you're the driver, most dangerous. most time invested per load, fuel responsible, etc. By comparison, driver gets the least per blood sweat and tears invested. When this realization hits you, you realized that you've been flim-flamned. We deserve better.
No training video or app will disclose the deep dark secrets of the behind the scenes money grabbing going on.
You're better off performing reverse engineering analysis. For example, when I get fired from a job and seek knowledge to remedy. I don't buy the book called, "How to Fight Unjust Termination." No! I buy the book named, "Human Resources Guide to Termination Without Getting Sued." This way you immediately identify the mistakes the company made! Works beautifully!
So in Expediting, I would research and seek material on, "How to Become a Millionaire as a Freight Broker." Lol!!
"How to make a dollar stretch" ?
"How to make a million dollars." ?
It's up to you. Again. Common sense.

Andre - have u ever been pulled over by Police who wanted to make sure you weren’t smuggling anything? It seems that the Arkansas State Police pull over big cargo vans like yours on a regular basis & then they call in the drug 🐶 - 😂

      @Eagle-Xpress  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

never, and have not heard of any of our drivers getting pulled over for no reason either. maybe theyre profiling somehow.....but we have vans coming though there daily and I have not heard of such a thing.

If you have nothing to hide then you should have nothing to worry about even if you do get checked. Not a big deal. Semi trucks get stopped all the time for no reason just to get checked anywhere DOT wants to inspect them.
