Hi Black Velvet. I can not comment specifically for your without an evaluation of your spine and condition. Generally speaking, with mild disc bulge, there should be an issue. A lot would depend on the pain level and if the disc bulge / herniation condition is active and the source of pain. It is best that you consult with your OB or your doctor or specialist who evaluated your spine and condition. I hope you can appreciate this. Good luck.

Thanks Doctr..you have made it easier for us to understand. Please I have another question. Why does the X-ray report say normal finding but also indicate straightening of the lumbar and cervical spine due to muscle spasm and you are have symptoms most doctors will say it’s nothing serious and am having tingling and burning sensations
I don't know the radiologists sayus normal xray but straightening of lumbar and cervical spine. If you look at the spinal and biomechanicla published peer review research, you will note that there is nothing normal about a straightended lumbar spine or straightened cervical spine. Also, research shows that loss of cervical lordosis or straight cervical spine is NOT due to muscles spasm. See the study here: pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/27761195/. If you have an opportunity, go see a corrective care chiroprator trained and certified in CBP that understands these concepts well. You can find on here at this directory: www.idealspine.com/directory
Dear Doctr.. I have a question . I have straight cervical and lumbar spine straightening due to muscle spasm.. I am confused why n what to treat becos I am having sensations on both arm and feets . And sometimes when I sit for long my hip pain..
Research has shown that cervical spine straigthening is NOT from muscles spasm. As for lumbar spine straightening, one of the know causes is hip flexion contracture (spasm of muscles associated with hip flexion, like iliopsoas muscle). However, most of the straight lumbar spines I have seen is from true spinal misalignment and not muscle spasm. Check out the link in the description of this video where I posted a publication that talks about this.

I’m having trouble finding a corrective care chiropractor in my area :( I’m in my senior year of college and am more that a little afraid that my hours in a chair during class are going to make this condition worse. Who should I contact near Clarksville TN?
Hello Marc, the lumbar Denneroll is a prescribed spinal orthotic that is prescribed and dispensed by a qualified corrective care chiropractor who has examined the patient clinicical conditions and spinal alignment. There are indications for use and contraindications for use, that's why it is prescribed. You can find a trained and certified Chiropractic BioPhysics doctor here: idealspine.com/directory/
Hello Doc. I was diagnosed of this same issue and I had initially been feeling the pain as at last year but after having a strong pain relief I was better, however now it's back again and as intense but not relieving me. It gets worse and difficult to sit up-right from bed when I wake in the mornings. Not until I went to have an x-ray and was diagnosed of straightened lumbar spine which has resulted to reflex muscle spasm. I just want to try your recommendations but do you advice I start to do sit up exercises? Would it help?
Hey doc hello actually I saw ur video today 5 August 2022 and m suffering from that u explain in this video I want to know is it helpful u show that object pls reply me doct
Hello. The object I showed is called a lumbar Denneroll spinal orthotic. It is only prescribed by qualified trained practitioners that do corrective spinal care. And it is only prescribed based on a patient's spinal and xray evaluation. There are indications and contraindications to using it. I can not know if indicated for you because I never examined you. It is best you get checked by a qualied corrective care chiroprator to determine if you a good candidate for Lumbar Denneroll.
Just making a comment so people don't repeat the same mistakes as me... Like this Dr. Walter shows and explains, there is a NATURAL CURVE to the lumbar spine. If you go online for videos or even look to doctors in your area as I have, sometimes they don't realize or see the curve the spine is supposed to have and they have you straighten your lower spine and "tuck your chin and elevate your head". That's going to just cause more problems so I highly recommend this Doctors advice and apply the same prinicpal of your spine having natural curves to your thoracic and Cervical spine also. No spine is straight, it's meant to curve and not understanding this earlier has caused me so much pain and other issues (breathing issues, headache issues etc...)
@@DrWalterSalubro Hi, how does this traction help the long term, by retraining the muscles, tendons and or ligaments? Can or should this be done everyday possibly with a foam roller? Thank you in advance for any recommendations.
Hello Dr. Salubro. I have severe degenerative disk disease/condition throughout my entire spine. I have kyphosis of the lumbar spine and have had an l5/s1 fusion which helped with sciatica pain but now the pain is beginning to increase and I am very much bent forward. Here are some findings from my last imaging: Coronal balance: C7 is 3.8 cm to the left of S1 (normal less than 3 cm). Thoracic kyphosis angle: 10 degrees (normal range 20-50 degrees) Lumbar lordosis angle: 19 degrees (normal range 20-60 degrees) Sagittal vertical axis: +12.5 cm (normal range -2 - +2 cm) Pelvic incidence: 64 degrees Pelvic incidence - lumbar lordosis: 45 degrees (normal less than 10 degrees) Pelvic tilt: 39 degrees (normal less than 20 degrees). Cervical Disc Levels: Moderate to severe degenerative disc disease from C3-4 thru C7-T1, mildly progressed from 2011. Facets and Posterior Spinal Elements: Multilevel facet arthropathy is suggested, left greater than right. Is this a condition a corrective care CBP doctor would be appropriate to handle? Or is it the type of flat back you mentioned in your video that is not appropriate for CBP doctor care? Thank you.JB

Hello doctor! Thank you for taking the time to get this information out there. Hypothetically speaking, if someone had a flattened spine and rested with a "lumbar pillow" would that grant them these benefits of spinal correction?
Hi Zach. The answer is no. A lumbar pillow can not induce enough extension in the mirror image position to create the ligament changes that are needed for spinal correction. You would need special equipment that is found in a Chiropractic BioPhysics doctor's office or a special spinal orthotic called a Lumbar Denneroll. I show both inside this video.
I went to a traditional chiropractor in Cambridge, ON and was told go three days in a row. I didn't. I have a flat neck, mild scoliosis and a flat lower back. My neck lacks range of motion. The Chiro said he'd have me turning my head like an owl. However, I have DDD in my neck so how is this possible with just adjustments and no stretching exercises or traction? I don't think it is. I've never heard of Chiro Bio until today and it involves a lot more work with the patient rather than just cracking a few bones for 5 minutes and coming back for a few more cracks once per week. Impressive.
The Denneroll (yellow block) is a prescription spinal orthotic and can not be dispense without a proper exam and spinal xray being done and without being in a corrective care program. Look for a Chiropractic BioPhysics doc in Australia. You will find some at this doctor directory; at www.idealspine.com/directory.

What is a spine contraction and where do I find help thanks, kat
Hello Katarina. I am sorry to hear about your suffering. You have done lots already. Sometimes these conditions take some time to health and correct. If you are looking for a corrective care type of chiropractor, check out this directory www.idealspine.com/directory
Hello. We follow a care plan guideline, usually starting with a 12 week program of 30 to 36 sessions of corrective care. Then we retake an xray and measure the outcome of the corrective care. If more correction is possible, a second course of care may be recommended. Once maximum improvement has been achieved one may continue to do maintenance care or continue with home traction for maintenance. I hope you can appreciate that this is a general guideline and it is always individualized for the patient.

I have the same finding in my xray result and with my MRI result i have l5 s1 herniatic disc. I want my life back

Hello Grace, I am sorry to hear this.
Hello. I can not give you advice or recommendations because I did not examine you. You need to consult with your doctor.

How and where to learn all this therapy so I can help my patients
Thanks for sharing Anthony.
What kind of breathing issues? You had trouble taking deep breaths?
Very informative video, thank you.
Glad it was helpful!

Hello Dr. Salubro. I have severe degenerative disk disease/condition throughout my entire spine. I have kyphosis of the lumbar spine and have had an l5/s1 fusion which helped with sciatica pain but now the pain is beginning to increase and I am very much bent forward. Here are some findings from my last imaging:
Coronal balance: C7 is 3.8 cm to the left of S1 (normal less than 3 cm).
Thoracic kyphosis angle: 10 degrees (normal range 20-50 degrees)
Lumbar lordosis angle: 19 degrees (normal range 20-60 degrees)
Sagittal vertical axis: +12.5 cm (normal range -2 - +2 cm)
Pelvic incidence: 64 degrees
Pelvic incidence - lumbar lordosis: 45 degrees (normal less than 10 degrees)
Pelvic tilt: 39 degrees (normal less than 20 degrees).

Hi Ryan, check out this directory of trained and certified Chiropractic BioPhysics docs, www.idealspine.com/directory.
@@DrWalterSalubro thanks for the insight Dr. S!
Impressive.
Hello. Thanks for sharing.
Can you send the yellow block to

Hi dr. Thank you for helping with this video but what is straining of lumbar spine with pradiscal osteophytes
Straigthening of lumbar spine = loss lof lumbar curve. Paradiscal osteophytes = degenerative athritic changes.
Hi, where could I purchase the lumbar Dennneroll? Could you recommend any websites? Thank you
Hi, this is only prescribed by a qualied doctor based on spinal exam and xray analysis. You may find one here: www.idealspine.com/directory.
Can we use roller or pipie in this exercise
No. A roller or a pipe is not specific for inducing a lumbar lordosis as the lumbar Dennneroll peak does.
Hi Dr, Till when should these tractions be continued?. I have a back straightening curvature loss. I have severe lower back pain.
Does pilates can reduce straightening of lumbal?
Not that I am aware of. You need lumbar extension traction and corrective care that is provided by a Chiropractic BioPhysics trained doctor.
