    Yes! I have had a desk job my entire adult life and I am seeing and feeling the effects of that. As soon as you showed how we tuck our butts under when we sit I knew that was what I'd done; why I am routinely so stiff in my lumbar area. I will be giving this a try. Thank you!!!

    Thanks for the help bro. I've been lifting weights over the past 10 years, even training for power lifting but over the past couple years I've had to back way off the weights due to pain in my lower back. I finally went to a specialist and found out i have Flat Back Syndrome. Anyways I started researching the best way to help this condition and so far these 2 stretches seem the most beneficial. I'm back to weight lifting almost pain free! Thanks again!

I feel like it will never be good until it cracks back into original position. Is it possible to fix this with just exercises and correcting posture or does it need some other approach?

    Are there any exercises you would recommend for restoring the natural curve of the thoracic spine when it's too flat? I've seen a lot of videos addressing how to correct the thoracic spine when the person has a hunched posture but there's barely any information on restoring the natural curve of the thoracic spine when it's the opposite and the upper back looks really flat (plus there's pronounced scapular winging on top of that). What would cause a flat thoracic spine in the first place? Can this condition be corrected and, if yes, how?

    • @playermartin286
      @playermartin286 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      chariots8x there are a lot of people who don’t consider a flat t spine pathological. You are probably born with it. I also have a pretty flat t spine, strengthening the psoas (not stretching) and lower back with reverse hyperextentions has helped me a lot

    • @chariots8x230
      @chariots8x230 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@playermartin286 I would say it is a problem because I get a lot of muscular headaches and it kinda forces the head to be a little bit in a forward position. Plus it looks terrible and I feel uncomfortable wearing anything that shows my upper back. I will try to strengthen the muscles that you mentioned. I'm actually working on muscle training right now. I'm just a little nervous to try exercises that affect the upper back because there's barely any information on this condition out there and I'm afraid of causing damage without meaning to.
