For anyone curious, here's the player edge at different true counts, assuming infinite decks and perfect play (all deviations): T-2: -1.560% T-1: -1.033% T0: -0.485% T1: 0.082% T2: 0.646% T3: 1.203% So it looks like the rule of "about .5% per true count" is pretty accurate! Maybe it's slightly closer to .56% or so.
I love the statistical rigour that went into something that could've been explained with "it's pretty much the same as the standard game with continuous shuffling because any running count divided by decks remaining would yield a true count of about 0, therefore there would be almost no difference to the standard game house edge"

Edit: Do you know of any other resources that could help me get a grasp on casino math? I'm already aware of Blackjack Apprenticeship and other similar resources but I feel like they just don't get into the hard numbers the way I'd like them to.
