The dump truck on the trailer looks like a rolling DOT violation.! Plus, heaven help you if you have to stop very fast. I think the title of this video is spot on! Stay safe!
So much for the trailer deck... By the way, sledgehammering that exhaust pipe reminded me of Andrew Camarata :D. Quick question: how much does that dump truck weigh? Great video Hank and Wiley, cheers!
The blower looking thing on the turbo of the first Volvo is actually the exhaust brake actuator. I'll be that's a VE12 Volvo engine. I had one, wasn't made but a couple of years and my local dealer don't know jack about them, so I sent it down the road.
Hank, don't ever stop laughing!! My aunt is 103 years old, & has a fantastic sense of humor. She loves to laugh, & I believe that is why she is still with us.
Just so you know, those Volvo engines is coming strong in diesel converting GMC and Chevy Squarebodys and it would work perfect as a twinstick. The Volvo engine have a very low top rpm with enormous torque compaired to a 305 tbi with 120hp.
@Hamiltonville Farm you should get some chains or maybe some big flatsteel bars, drill the frame and the ramps and give it a connecting rod to ensure it stays put - also put your truck in 4WD before you use the parking brake also activate the trailer brakes or put some blocks under the trailer tires
By the time that you guys get that Volvo back there won't be anything left, well maybe the frame. Hey Hank that is the second dump truck I think the third one you should make an offer.
First day back cleared to lift and you got Wiley swinging a sledgehammer on top of that big truck 😂 I was laughing while watching it with my headphones on and Vixen thinks I’m crazy.
Careful there boys, that dump is really pushing the limits of safety on a F250. I would say well past the limit of safely personally. Of course thats between you and the local DOT officers and if you got away with it scott free, good for you but i wouldn't try that often. Just cause you CAN do it doesn't mean you SHOULD
Mighty surprised the deck didn't fall through on the dump truck trailer load. It looked mighty sketchy for a few. Glad though you all had some fun. Might raise the bed an see where some of those air leaks are at.. most likely the air line off of the pump has fallen off in its condition. I can see a person taking some parts rigs an making one out of two or three if they are all in same shape. Trunnion bushings are gone under the dump and those ain't no fun... big press, some heat and a cuss word or seven
With the forklift attachment on the wheel loader can it pick up the dump truck and set it on to the trailer or is it just too heavy for that? Have an excellent day
Looks like Wiley may need a charge from the batteries he's always in charge of.!! They look in about as good a condition as I do. Ain't it great to hear an ole engine kick into life agin. Thanks fellas for the bit a fun.
Might have been just a little overweight on those trailers. I also learned the hard way, if your pushing or pulling something onto a trailer always block the tires. I’ve also been told that a lot of jarring from loading trailers and just being in park with cause issues later down the road cause the park gear piece will break off. I know the feeling about two blow. Tires, when we went to get my excavator, we blew one tire just before prattvile and we couldn’t find another and we knew the second one was gonna blow but all we could do was roll with it. Spent the night in a hotel changed the only tire we could and the second tire blew about 3 miles after we got on the interstate coming south from prattville. Luckily there was a truck stop at the next exit and they had two tires so we went ahead and replaced the spare and the other tire.
Excellent video Hank :) also crew also need have Load Rand D tires like dump trucks weights with thick lugs on trailer wheels also Mountian Iron or Hickory or Hardwood Maple on trailer or thick steel of 1/4 sheet corgrain steel on Goose Back trailer haul dump truck because weight of daul axles dump trucks and help out!

I’m not sure. We didn’t weigh it. But it was heavy. Lol
25.000 to 45.000 pounds on empty load weight
An average truck tractor with a 5th wheel weighs about 34000, the dump bed and lift, maybe 6000 or more. I'd say he was a tad overloaded.
From the thumbnail, I thought you were loading up the Mack, and was thinking "but it runs and drives??!" 😆😆😆
lol
That was interesting bro, crazy how they both popped off so easily though, must be good motors in them if nothing else. Safe travels

Hey Hank,
Don't tell us y'all gonna make Wiley redeck that trailer! Since he is swinging the hammer! Lol.
All you have to do is get the rust to stop "holding hands" and engine removal will be a breeze if that's what the new owner has in mind!

This should be a reminder to farmers of what fertilizer will do to their equipment. Maybe they will quite whining so much about haul and storage fees.
Where do you find all of these used trucks?
On the right front wheel of the volvo tractor
Thats just funny how small the volvo’s wheels are compared to those of the komatsu😂
Mini Elvis on left front wheel
You should have tried one battery on that volvo tractor to see if it really would start.
What do they use those two pieces of equipment for that Wiley pulled in between? Looks like a saw blade on the end.
They trim trees around power lines
That was pretty sweet lotta weight on that poor trailer lol
What exactly do you do with all these old trucks???
Sell them or parts off them
