As I watch this clip I check what not and they are currently on running the same game. I went in there a couple times and said see the losers who are buying $7 modern packs in t r b then at least it wasn't the $25 Cox that they were getting suckered on. Multiple in the chat agreed with me the seller skipped over my comment basically only to acknowledge it as he does offer that tear and here's the price for it. This is unreal I did report them to whatnot and I simply asked them why they would continue to let a seller like this continue on their platform I told them all about your channel and they should really check it out that they're the laughingstock of the internet right now and that they had lost over half of their streamers because no one's allowed to manipulate cheat or steal from the customer anymore so why is this guy. I’ve been running a shop for ten years. Comics , toys, cards , clothing , vinyls etc. I joined whatnot last year. I sell the same way I sell in my shop. Buy it now. I’m not a fan of mystery boxes & auctions. So I don’t resort to selling in that style because it’s not fair . I like selling items to buyers that are interested in the item. I prefer making less and keep my customers happy. Which is why I have soo many return customers. I prefer consistency. But hey that’s just me. Good video rattle. Keep it up
Rattle, you are spot on with the continued carnival games even after the no bounty rule. Aren’t mystery bags also banned now? A few large streamers, going twice for example who seem to have doubled down and have a mystery bag pull box game where each pull is $200+ with a floor of like $40 but a ceiling of $1800. 😮
I thought the same thing that the pull games were banned, guess not especially if your stream is pulling in 💵 for f*@k not. Ppl r in these streams getting a$$ f*@ked. So sad. I definitely sent in a complaint with the ftc
Is there anything we can do Rattle? I can write an email threating to never use their stupid service(though I have no intention anyway) but will that do any good? Would it matter if enough of us(even non customers) complained or do they just not completely care at all? If anyone has a complaint link for an email to Whatnot or is it even worth it if they are not going to listen anyway....so damn frustrating....
I think WhatNot is just as scammy as the scammers who use Whatnot to scam people. WhatNot looks bad because they are bad.

Only place I buy loose japanese packs is from 1 store that's about 20 minutes away from me. They open fresh boxes right there at the counter when the box old box runs out. And I've gotten many hits from them over the years
I hate these scammers, i wont buy any pokemon stuff on whatnot. I would like to say that there should be a channel of whatnot streamers who are legit. Its great to see who not to buy from. But maybe we should shed light on the legitimate peaople and bring them some followers. No better way to get rid of scammers than to build the legitimate people imo. Since whatnot wont do anything about it we as a community can and should.

It's a free for all until Sept 30th, Whatnot purposely released a very vague description of the rules, and left that up to interpretation, they also refuse to clarify, which means the vaguer it is the more they can let people get away with, even mystery packs are a still a gamble, they refuse to answer questions in Discord, they turned on the slow mode to keep people from stating their opinions, basically just trying to make it all go away, and yet Craig also still has a job, he was moderating in a whatnot Pokémon stream on the 30th

It still blows my mind that people buy this stuff. It is no different than buying those mystery boxes from Walmart or Walgreens. Well the stuff on what not is worse by far.
At some point it's not just on the platform. Everyone using it is a grown adult - capable if their own choices, decisions, and the keeper of their own self interest. You can't always save people from themselves. These sites keep existing because people keep buying. Sometimes people are truly just stuck on stupid. Sometimes people are legitimate gambling addicts. So while I agree whatnot is sketchy and no one should be using it I don't think that absolves people that continue to participate on the platform from the consequences of their actions. "A fool and his money were lucky to ever be together in the first place."
I buy a few cards a week from whatnot. I only buy from smaller sellers cuz if they have over 50 people in stream prices are double or triple what they are on tcg and ebay. I have mentioned it I stream that price is way more then tcg and the seller will give lots of smack talk saying people buy on the steam cuz you get better look at cards and for the 1 on 1 experience. I always tell them I work to hard for my money to pay double or triple and leave to different stream. Have to watch out for dirty sellers!!! Sell you LP cards and they are far from it. I have seen other dirty sales tactics. I am only looking for deals on cards I like to collect.

Pokemon Wizard never shows last sold and always shows eBay LIST price. Keep that in mind when buying from him.

What happened!
@donovansanchez6722 had a mystery bag game where there were X amount of "golden tickets" that would be available for a chance to win a Fossil Booster Box among other things. Well they get to the end and guess what? They miscounted the golden tickets by 2, meaning there were 2 less tickets in the bags than advertised, so people were pissed because the odds weren't represented correctly.
