Sometimes curly as my natural hair, sometimes just wavy and not very often just straight as the mannequin. I can't believe my signature hair cut is back in trend hahahaha.
Lovely cut. I just finished cutting a shag into my hair using your tutorial, I don’t think I accounted for how thick and chonky my hair is, lots of blunt ends and a bit uneven but I softened it all with a razor and it looks pretty good, so thank you! It’ll look even better when washed and the natural waves are back. I wonder what happens to your mannequin heads once they’ve been used? Do you save them for another cut? Can new hair be put on them? 🤔

Wish i had the balls to cut this on my own hair no really good hairdressers where i live. The ones that are any good just believe in cutting a straight line on long hair but to me thats very boring always had a shag haircut until my great hairdresser closed down.
Pull the hair back with one arm and clamp it with your fingers holding down to retain the tension from that angle. Then you can move the hair upward or forward a bit so you can reach it with your scissors. The initial angle sets the hair distribution and tension so if you can hold that as you move it forward to cut it it works decently well when cutting your own hair.
It has that 70's long shag gypsy vibe.💖niiice

yes, becuz you can clearly see there are already shorter pieces and layers in the middle ponytail... so its not like this started with all one length
