    I wonder if this could be done for a character design as well.

      Although the answer is yes it could, it would not look that good from the side angle, and separately the backside would be flat if you ended up using the background removal assist feature in the tool. Here's an older video I have to show what I mean about a Panda character.

      Long story short, if you were only using a front-facing view of the character or maybe a slight side angle it might work....but I would be cautious with anything more than that. Personally I still like some of the results for characters from the front view and flat backsides....however it might not be ideal if you need full entire characters for a 360 degree view.

      Thank you and bonjour. At this current moment I don't have an easy solution for this. A few thoughts that come to mind are either placing objects that fit the scene's theme around the most noticeable areas in the camera view or manually trying to adjust and fix the UVs of the material on those spots.
