- Check the whole vid for a swedish easter egg. So I've moved on... From the most entertaining bike this far (Aprilia SXV) to another brilliant bike. A Ducati Hypermotard 821 - Termignoni with Ducati performance Up-map. Still v-twin and still motard. Just the way I want it! :)

Hei. Kjører hypermotard selv, men uten slipon. Er det stor forskjell fra original til Termo og up-map?
***** Hej! Jag testade en HyMo original hos en återförsäljare. Det är bra skillnad skulle jag vilja säga. Mycket mer effekt på höga varv. Sen ljudet är ju halva grejen. =)
I gotten my 821 up to 131mph and it had more left in it.

Curtis Hickerson Will suit you perfect. But get the SP, seat height is 910mm so it suits taller people better. I have the SP and its a firecracker.
I've got the regular non-sp, and it's still great for 6'3. Still taller than most bikes.
ylleskog I have the same bike but without the Termi slipon. I notice that your bike power wheelies in 2nd, do you have a 14t sprocket or are you at the coast?
Neither coast or 14t sprocket. Half empty tank and quick clutch fingers.
I do have a 14t sprocket in the garage waiting to be installed. Can't wait.

+Gianmarco Russo Hi! It depends on what supermoto you are experienced with? Compared to KTM 525, WR450, Husky and Aprilia SXV this is a heavy bike, still smooth though. I would say that the HyMo is a long distance/comfortable supermoto. That childish playful feeling is still there and you can ride for how long you want to. No numbed bottoms or arms. It is a very fun bike. Another big difference is the maintenance. 3000km for valves and 1500km (or one year) for oil. The Ducati torque and exhaust sound is awesome! Search for "nicky hayden hypermotard" at youtube you'll see for your self! ;)

+Gianmarco Russo KTM 690 smc is cool. 140kg on 63 bhp compared to HyMo's 110 hp (117hp with performance upmap) 170kg says a lot. Of course the price tag makes difference as well. But you'll have more fun with the twin, I promise! Search for "höstrulle" at youtube for a neet vid from a swede with the 690 SMC. =)

Neither or them LMAO. Only possibly if you make them A2 restricted. With A2 licence you can ride a bike up to 48 horsepower and not less than 180kg of weight. Hypermotard has 115 horsepower and 790 duke 105 horsepower.
@@supposedly6991 Well, not really, in some countries they exist in A2 compliant, meaning 70kw, that you can restrict to 35kw.
Hypermotard 796 has a 35kw kit in Europe.
790L Duke is 70kw for this specific purpose unlike the 790 regular.

+francisco ponce benavides Hi man! I have mine on 3 for everyday riding. For longer and higher wheelies you need to put it on 1 or off. When the front wheel spins slower than the rear the bike will stall as it tries to keep traction. My tip is to keep it on for all times. DTC is great and you'll definitely regret it if you loose grip and crash. Take care!

Teo Markou It's quite a difference. This is a heavy bike compared to the SXV. The SXV is a plain toy, your butt is dead within 100kms though. The Hymo however is pretty comfortable and one crazy beast. With this setup the torque is crazy. I will give you a full report when summers over. Take care!

Vad känns bättre med Duccen och vad saknar du med Aprilian?
Björn Carlshamre Ducatin är jäkligt skön att köra. Motorn går som en dröm alltså. Att slippa serva och skruva lika mycket som man kör är också en fördel med Ducatin. Däremot väger den ju nästan dubbel så mycket som Aprilian (90 kg mot 170kg) så man saknar det där nätta och löjligt smidiga på Aprilian. Sen var ljudet i Aprilian inte att leka med heller. Mer avgasknallar. ;) Måste dock ändå medge att Ducatin drar åt sig mer blickar och komplimanger. =)

Mona Liza-Official The quality of the bikes is as good as it gets for factory bikes. The reliability is where they suffer s but compared to the Italians. That's the price you have to pay though to have the Italian soul ha ha.
