The two young men who jumped in to help their senior deserve commendation. I mean the one white person who tried to break up the fight at the beginning and the youngster who swam over. They're proof that age doesn't automatically deserve respect; it's the actions that count.
Because of this, harbour boat video, I called out to a couple men pushing & shoving an older brother, looked over 60 years old, or at least late 50’s. One of them began to get mad with me shouting, ‘who are you his lawyer?’😒….theeeen a whole load of brothers heard the commotion, came out of a barber shop towards the brotha to rescue him, those 2 trifling men began moonwalking better than the king of pop himself! It ended with some cussing back & forth, then everyone dispersed as soon as the brotha was out of danger.

A couple things:
1.) The Captain of the Harriet (the larger commercial paddle ferry) was demanding over the megaphone for 40+ minutes for the offending party to move their boat. The family ignored him, leaving that boat full of 200+ passengers stranded, circling the area.
2.) That "security guard" was in fact the Co-Captain of the Harriet, who disembarked to confront the family in-person.
3.) "Aquamayne," as we have lovingly dubbed him, is 16-year-old Aren, who was another of the Co-Captain's coworkers.
4.) The "Dock Avengers" (Y'all killin me with these nicknames, lawd 😂🤣) skipping to the fight were also mostly coworkers that saw everything that happened, and disembarked to defend the Co-Captain and smol posse at the time.
5.) The cops shole watched alot of it just... go down. So the "yt women tears" weren't effective this time. 😂
6.) The history of that particular dock... That very port is where slaves were shipped in to the US after leaving the African West Coast. There are literal former warehouses and auction houses where humans were ...stored... (ew 🤮) sold as chattel. The irony (or poetic justice, depending on your point of view, I supposs) of the Montgomery Boat Brawl against the backdrop of this historical knowlege of the area is on par with a classic Greek Comedy.
7.) So many people recorded and posted the event from different angles, you could probably create a digital panorama of all the data. That is to say, new angles are gonna keep surfacing for a while... ENJOY. :3
