Hailing from India with subtropical climate, your videos are really helpful and impeccable as you even mention the grams of a fabric to be used on a 30°C day. Thankyou for sharing your knowledge with us laymen. I love watching your videos to enhance the taste in my wardrobe collection.
I'm happy to hear that! This is my first of this format, and I'm happy to do more. I just need to think of the topic or subject, have anything suggestions?
Came across your channel on my own menswear journey - stepped into a new role at work and I’ve found myself enjoying wearing more suits and jackets. Love how informative and to the point your videos are, loved hearing about your journey as well. Cuban-born, living in Florida myself. While Cuba’s sartorial culture goes as far as the guayabera, I’d love to hear you talk about sartorial and menswear culture in different parts of the world - US, UK, Italy, France, and out east like China and Japan as well!
Hi! Just discovered your channel, from Barcelona. I will keep it real, you feel very genuine so I’m subscribed. Keep it like this- video is well “tailored” no pun intended hehe
Thank you for following along! Barcelona is such an amazing place, I hope I can visit again soon! I have a close friend whom I met in Sweden back in 2005, who is from Barcelona. We've managed to connect there, here in China, and he also came to my Wedding in Korea!
Hi Justin, I didn’t have the time to come and say hi to you during Pitti in June but I will do it next time, cheers from Finland! Keep up the good work!
I feel the same way when I am wearing a suit and nice jacket but it doesn't suit my life style but it suits me and what I rather wear. It helps me feel good about myself. I wish I had a job where I had to dress this way at all times but I don't even have a job. Been thinking about trying to hand a resume at a suit store here in Ontario Canada a small city called Cornwall. As you see I am new to your channel and so far I like what you do. I can't wait to see more and I will be watching some of other vids as the days go.. So thank you for what you do and keep up the awesome vids Justin.. Ohh my name is Daniel.. I love men's fashion but I also love fragrances. Would be nice to have a store with both men';s wear and men's fragrances that would beee sooo kooolll lol You look like you wear some kind of fragrance lol Are you into fragrances Justin?
Hi from Brazil! Could you do some video for bigger guys? It's kind hard to get a ready to wear suit, because when the Blazer fits well, the trousers does not.
Hello there! I think that you will unfortunately always run into this kind of issue with ready to wear. One option I would suggest to consider is made to measure, and I do offer a virtual tailored service. If interested in setting up a quick call to learn more, shoot me a message here; www.principlem.com/contact
Hi Justin! It was interesting to hear your story and your answers to the questions. I enjoyed it very much! I do have some more questions for you. First off, do you have any brand recommendations for higher rise and fuller cut trousers? I am a shorter gentleman (5'7) and my legs are quite built. Finding a pair of proper fitting jeans is a nightmare and especially some nice wool flannel trousers. I do have acces to a tailor (That is always needed). My second question is: Could you make a video about some colour combinations to try out? I'd like to see what idea's you can come up with.
Glad you are here and following along. I've also had challenges with trousers, if they fit me in the hips and thighs, the waist was always too big, and if I buy some that fit in the waist, the hips and thighs are too tight! It was a major frustration and also one of the reasons I started Principle M. Since I've been making most of my own clothing, I don't have any brand recommendations. If you'd be interested in going MTM, I'd be happy to set up a call and talk more. Otherwise, a gentleman made a recommendation here, which may work. Just size up to something that is comfortable in the hips and thighs, then have your tailor take in the waist, which is an easier way to adjust, rather than getting the waist right and letting out the hips and thighs (difficult and usually not enough allowance on RTW). Jeans were also a pain in the butt (literally, always tight) but I've found Chad Prom from B&Tailor to suit me well, they are a higher rise and slightly fuller/straight cut, which may work for you. Lastly, I'll talk about color in an upcoming video--it's an important point to discuss. Thanks again for watching and subscribing!
Realy nice video Justin & Team. One question I have been curious about for a while is, why is it still a "general rule" to never button the lowest button as this origins back to a fat english king which was not able to button it (but might have done it if he could) and the whole world adpoted to that until today. I guess up to today most jackets are tailored so they fit best when lowest button is unbottoned but I never found a good answer about that topic. Btw. that triangle also annoys me, think it is time to try highrise trousers too but hard to find otr these days.
I don't have a great answer to that question either. I also heard it was easier to ride a horse with a jacket and the lower button undone as well as the fat King story...It would be interesting to delve deeper into this some day to get to the bottom of it.

Thanks for sharing your story. Keep at it! Yes, I also like fragrances. I'm really into scents with Bergamot nowadays. What are some of your favorite?
watching from Detroit, Michigan. Wish we had some classic bespoke tailors here like you!
Detroit, that's getting close to home for me!
18:00 So it's perfectly fine to go ''jetted with flaps'' on sport jackets/blazers ?
Yeah, sure. Some might prefer a more casual patch pocket, though.
hello sir, I like yours' videos because I find them extremely useful and informative, keep it up, many thanks for hard work and time.
Thank you so much for your kind words. I appreciate you watching!
Certainly a very stylish man. Looking forward for more short form videos
I'll see what I can do, I'm just getting started with shorter videos and want to see what works best.

Hi Justin👋 I really want to know what perfume do you use? Do a video of your perfume collection.
Recently into anything with Bergamot -- I have Jo Malone Oud & Bergamot and also like Bvlgari's Bergamot

Hi Justin. What are the glasses you are wearing here? Thanks!
These are from Oliver Peoples.
Love from Brazil.
Thanks for watching -- I'm just now waking up with some Bossa Nova music.
What would you say is the perfect leg opening width on bottom?
This varies tremendously depending on your height and weight, as well as the cut of the trousers. I'm 6' and 185lbs, my opening is around 8-8.5"
Your Suit Looks Beautyful, but think you have a Long neck and you can go for a deeper collar
Great Video and all the best
Thanks!

Thanks for sharing your story!
I wish there were quality tailors in Vancouver Canada. I don't think there is anyone who cares about craftsmanship here
That's a shame. Especially since I think people there still wear suits, right? Or if all else fails, come out here and visit us!
Where a u from justin ?
I'm from the US, based in Beijing.
The mixed thing is so obvious
Yeah. especially for other mixed people--we can spot each other from a mile away!
