This was a pretty good review on dr sandra lee's nighttime routine. I had watched it before through another youtuber's review and i thought it had some good tips on it but i wanted someone else to talk about the ingredients in the products she was using since i was unacquainted with most of them. Really loved hearing your opinions as to why they may or may not work in practice, particularly on the SLMD hyaluronic acid. I've never come across one that had squalane in it. I suspect that it might have been made for her specific needs, perhaps as an emollient/semi-occlusive buffer for the retinoid she uses if she does it after that particular step. I've been doing the salicylic wash for a couple of months and it's worked out well for me. My plan was to ease my skin into tolerating chemical exfoliants as i had never used one before the wash. I think i've passed the purging stage as i have not had a proper pimple in at least two weeks of every other day use. I'm going to try to out The Ordinary's 5% lactic acid next as i heard it was a gentler than the glycolic acid toner. Then after that i can go on to vitamin C product or the granactive retinoid, but i would like my skin to adjust gradually to increasing actives in my skincare. Thanks again for the video! A bientot!

Try an acidic toner with 2 BHA.
