Rv Slideout Repair

My lippert acuator quit working and I had to order a new one to preach it. This is a short video of me changing out the acuator to allow my Slideout to work again! I only had simple tools since I am on the road living in it full time.

LIked the vid, question, did the actuator come with the coupling spacer clutch that the motor drive box slides into?

It took a while but your video describes my problem, but a question i have is. Did it make a popping noise as you were taking out the slide and bring it back in. It seem like its coming from that pinionshaft. Thanks

It was if I remember right. But that was 3 years ago it’s hard to remember

1. How did you determine the problem was the actuator and not the motor/gear box?
2. What were the symptoms? What was it doing when not working?

The motor would run and spin, and the actuator would not rotate and push the slide out. That how I narrowed it dow to the actuator. I was reading that it was common for my particular camper to have the actuator go out before her motor.
