Caterpillars are actually the juvenile stage of the insect, so when M&S shows them marrying and having babies they are entering some very uncomfortable and possibly illegal territory

Neotrogla caterpillars females have a penis, and the males have vaginas… so after a quick google search by me, to find out how to see what sex a caterpillar is I learned this, so your aunty is ok and still a feminist, but you definitely have to analyse what she gets you on Christmas Day, and be prepared to have a go at her, especially if you have drunk to much.

In the Victorian era and through much of the Industrial Revolution parents dressed young boys and girls in dresses. This is mainly due to them being easier to make than pants, but they didn’t really see children as boy or girl, just a small child. This was largely due to the high infant mortality rates which meant it was better not to get attached to children since they weren’t likely to see adulthood. Once they got to the age of 6-8 depending on size they would likely be sent to a workhouse for daily 12-18 hour shifts running a mill, again regardless of gender. Of course gender roles for adults were strictly managed according to the patriarchal tradition but the idea of worrying about a child’s gender is largely a modern concern. After WW2 family life in developed countries stabilized and most importantly people were left with free time, which they choose to waste on finding new and dumber things to be worried about, like the gender of a cake. I’ve always said that all our problems and differences would vanish if we just had some natural predators. If you had to worry about your kid being eaten by a bear on the way to school you won’t have time to worry about all the absolute nonsense people get upset over today.

Before society worried about gender roles, gender roles simply existed as an extension of sexual dimorphism and biological reality.
A pregnant or breastfeeding woman can not hunt or fight or do anything dangerous while the men who do the dangerous tasks are easily replaced. Women are not just themselves, they are the entire future reproductive and survival capability of their entire civilisation, the loss of a young woman is far greater than the loss of a man.
The structure even if it was built by men, was to protect and venerate the female, that is far closer to a matriarchy.
Only the gendered world of strong biological males can make a society so successful that it has the free time to consume itself with neopronouns and identity.
Hard times breed strong men, strong men bring good times, good times breed soft men who think they are women, soft men bring hard times.
If that predator does show up, society will erase the weak non binary creatures and go back to men are men and women are women, both have a role to play to survive.
Or the caterpillar will sprout wings and turn into a chad bourgeois butterfly

The sign is a subtle joke. The shop is called "Sneed's Feed & Seed", where feed and seed both end in the sound "-eed", thus rhyming with the name of the owner, Sneed. The sign says that the shop was "Formerly Chuck's", implying that the two words beginning with "F" and "S" would have ended with "-uck", rhyming with "Chuck". So, when Chuck owned the shop, it would have been called "Chuck's Fuck and Suck"
