When Angels voice broke at the end of Poison, so did I. The emotions the cast put into these songs are absolutely next level.
It didn’t break that was his real voice. He dropped the Angel voice and that was Anthony.

Of you havent.. watch Blake sing it live at the cast karaoke party. Videos of them all performing their songs for each other at a bar before the show came out. Blake is just incredible and making you feel the characters pain. They all are.

this has both of my favorite songs, excellent character development, and overall just, everything great! Blake Roman and Keith David's performance on their characters are absolutely STELLAR this time around too.
I love how in a couple of the scenes like with Charlie and Val you can hear the completely different voice the VA uses for Anthony the broken human behind the angel dust persona.
I love Loser Baby. This is my favorite song from this show ❤️🔥❤️🔥🥰🥰

Ep 4 is by far my favorite for the feels, Ep 6 is my favorite for the plot development. I love the music in both for different reasons. The songs in ep4 are awesome as standalone pop/ballads, while the main song in Ep 6 is an outstanding piece of musical theater where characters confront each other and drive the story forward through music.
yeah, too bad the song is the only good thing in episode 6. The whole episode is utterly illogical to happen - I cannot talk about this more but yeah... no logic.

Husk reminds me of Luci from Disenchantment. Both are cat like demons, Luci is black Imp, who disguised his true nature calling himself in front of others as a cat, and Husk are Sinner former human who after his death becomes Winged Cat and Overlord, who work as bartenders, Luci won a bar in armrestling and call it Luci's Inferno, and Husk working as a Clerk and bartender at the reception of the Hazbin Hotel, are friends with the princess protagonists, Luci has a Princess Tiabeanie(Bean), and Husk have a Princess Charlotte (Charlie) Morningstar, both serve the mighty Infernal Lord, Luci serving Satan, and Husk's soul belongs to Alastor, and both have a bad but generally friendly personalities. So their relationship with AngelDust (excluding all romance and love) reminds me of Luci and Elfo's relationship.

I loved episode 4 a lot. It's arguably the best episode. My favorite is Episode 5 due to my fave introduction and their lore. Can't wait for you to see it!

I'm definitely on board with you as to these being the two best songs of the series (if you still think that after seeing the rest). The funny thing was I wanted to sing Poison so bad but it wasnt out on Smule yet. Loser Baby was though, and I really knocked it out of the park. Poison came out a little later and I never quite mastered it . Still love 'em both!

So at this point in the season, this episode was my favorite. After watching all of them, I have a 3 way tie. This episode, Episode 6 - Welcome to heaven, and Episode 7 - Hello Rosie.
Angel breaking down to Husk hurts every single time. Who knows how long he has been forced into this life. The insanity of having to disassociate every single day and compartmentalize the horrors he is forced into just to make it through another day. To hear him say he hopes he can break himself so much maybe Val will just let him go is one of the most painful things to hear. Angel has endured a hell inside of hell.
Someone else said it better: "Husk went out after Angel... and brought Anthony back." He is so messed up he had forgotten who Anthony even was.
Husk doesnt care what Anthony does or likes... he just wants him to be his real self. This is you... thats fine. Just own it. Stop hating yourself. This is what we made for ourselves. Lets help each other through.
