    Thank you so much for introducing me to the concept of nourish bowls and for demonstrating that every food can be eaten at any time of day.
    This has seriously made nourishing my body so much less stressful over the last couple months.
    Love your videos and meal ideas :)

    Yup I would love to see the experimentation video🤗.
    And for the sprouted chickpea recipes I am sharing a balanced snack option
    Chana (chickpea) chat - First boil the chickpeas with some potatoes. Then chop up some tomatoes, cucumber and red onions . For the tamarind chutney you have to extract some tamarind by soaking them for at least 15 minutes, mush the tamarind in the water after it softens, and then discard the seeds and rind ( you can strain the pulp if you wish). In a hot pan add the pulp along with some nigella seeds, sugar and a little salt to enhance the sweetness. The chutney will be sweet and sour. Stir it until it thickens. Now in a bowl add the boiled chickpeas, potatoes, and raw vegetables, drizzle the chutney , sprinkle some cumin powder and garnish it with some coriander and sliced green chilies and some toasted peanuts/ almonds/ cashews for crunch.
    You can use the tamarind chutney with anything once you taste it I can assure you that it will be addictive😅.

    Hey Julia! I have a video idea for you, I know you are not ready a snackyy person but you can do a "trying out south african vegan snack" video. It's not really original, I know, however it is still fun to experiment and expand your taste buds!😊Much love

    I just sprouted some chickpeas, I have them in my fridge. Also sprouted some broccoli sprouts and pea sprouts. I like to do small amounts at a time so I have variety. I just snacked on the chickpeas sprouts so far lol. My favorite sprouts are lentil sprouts!

      Hey, how do you prepare the sprouted lentils? I have never tried sprouting things and Ireally wanna get into it!

    • @LeeLuvsTea
      @LeeLuvsTea 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@nicolajohanna7883 you just get some lentils that are meant for sprouting. Don't get the ones that are meant for gardening they are not food grade and could harbor some pathogens so you want to get sprouting seeds always. then you just follow the directions on the package you usually soak them for4 to 8 hours then you just rinse them morning and night. It usually takes a few days and then you have sprouts.

    Hey Julia, a thought for your experiment video! Make some homemade tempeh, you can use different beans or lentils and the taste difference is unreal! I just put mine in the airing cupboard (boiler cupboard) so I don't need any special equipment or heat mats and you can order the tempeh starter on line, the only other thing you need is apple cider vinegar! It's a great thing to get into and soooo much cheaper than store bought. Much love from Ireland xx❤

    I would love to see you make sauerkraut, being in a hot humid climate where who knows what is 'normal room temperature'? I live in a southern state and worry about getting bad bacteria getting into anything I ferment or sprout - so I'd love to hear how you figure out how to safely make kraut in a hot/warm climate.

    As a fellow South African, may I suggest giving the Earth and Co brand from Clicks or the simple truth one from Checkers. Taste a lot better imo and it’s cheaper

      Lol this comment is so intrusive, and the answers to these questions are none of your business. Content creators aren’t obliged to share their whole lives with the internet and Julia has stated she didn’t want to bring romance in to the public sphere again due to it going badly before. You may not realise but the tone of this comment is quite aggressive ‘what does he do all day while you bring in the bucks?’ Like what??? Anyway just a friendly comment to remind you to mind your business and let people share what they feel comfortable sharing
