Building the G36 in Ready or Not

- There are a plethora of guns in Ready or Not to use, such as the MK18, MP7, and even AK. There's just one issue. Most of the weapons in Ready or Not are fairly ubiquitous around the world. But there is one exception. The G36 in Ready or Not is anything but conventional. So of course, I had to try and clone it.

Fellow G36C - KAC enjoyer. Fanatastic wrap up of the set-up. *Flex alert* I own a 223 g36C and after ca. 4-5y I managed to complete the look WITH the KAC front and rear sight. Rear short sight nota bene, exactly like in the game. The real estate is quite limited, but for a 223 9" gun a red dot is all you realistically need. The gun handles even lighter than a comparable 10" AR (which I also own and use often). Still quirky is the reload due to the geometry of the G36 mag. I keep it as such for the looks but you could go AR magwell and use standard AR mags for the ultimate sleight of hand. mega swag in the game, i belive no nother game went this close to the ultimate unobtanium G36C setup. The gun designer must be an HK fanboi. Kudos to him
t's a sick setup. The only other time I've come across it in games is in a fallout 4 mod. And congrats on finding the KAC sights, those things are practically impossible to find.
One of my dads friends was a Uk armed police officer and he used a G36 most of the time

Their site looks somewhat dated, and I've heard of bad experiences, but all my stuff arrived without issue
G36 K version, "kurtz" version. Swedish special Military taskforce use it sometimes. Looks cool.👍

I love H&K, and while I like the G36 overall, the OG carrying handle was always overkill in my eyes. I definitely enjoy the slimmer variants, but this particular Compact without the carry handle in RoN is sexy as hell. 🍻

I am actually really upset that they choose this configuration for the G36. One of the first mods I downloaded was a top rail for it! Too bad the mod is broken in 1.0.

I've been in the Bundeswehr as contract soldier and while we did have problems with the G36, I would argue that it's a perfect weapon for a conscript army and law enforcement. The reason is simple: It's super easy to handle, to shoot with - because of the optics and handabillity. You don't need super regular training to use it well. We had the opposite on the MG branch, though - the MG3 is the worst you can operate =D
While it might not have been the best rifle for a field army in AFG, for sure, and the lower caliber brought difficulties (wich is why we often had 1-2 skoped G3 in a platoon as DMR), it was a great rifle to shoot it.
Fun Fact: We called it "Lego Technic" in military slang ;)

To me the G36 without the carry handle looks absolutely cursed to me, and hopefully the carry handle woll be brought back (though tbh i think i don't mind it, just still stands out like a sore thumb)
there's a mod in Nexus that replaces it with the one with a carry handle, it still works even with the optics

Yep, it was ares. You will need to dremel down the reinforcement piece, but it'll fit.

I think it would be more interesting if they maybe made the non carry handle a modification choice but at the same time i can just download mods to get the carry handle back if i want so its not that bad

When I see a super short rifle, I see an anime girl using it, while normal average men character will use a long barrel AR15, the anime girl will just use a super short rifle and explaining how it got similar or better stopping power in close range, thus being very cute, this goes for that ARN-18 gun too.
