I love Thomas's voice and his message about creating a bubble of good energy in this century where pessimism is dominant, I can definetly say that daft punk successfully created that (happiness and optimism) in my life
Thomas speaks the truth when talking about EDM. Too many music artist are doing the same old same old " drop the bass rave" dubstep stuff in which the listener can't who's it's made by. They just copy off each other and do the exact techniques, etc. and they don't have any signatures or personality.
Respect so much that they don't use software vsts or pre-made kits and loops. Much harder to make songs from scratch but I agree there's much more soul in it
