Thank you for asking. I would like to answer your question, but please clarify. What is happening when you say something and you believe your child "isn't listening?" Are they just ignoring you? Are they openly defying your instructions? Are they throwing a fit? Please explain.
@@sheseeks-shefinds If she is just talking when she shouldn’t, I have to tell you…that was my problem in school. I was always getting in trouble for talking! Have you considered homeschooling? That’s my first piece of advice. Not just because of this, but generally. There are numerous reasons to consider it. If that’s not possible, it’s important to find out exactly what the teacher is saying that’s going on before I could give a specific answer. Is she talking during class when teacher is trying to teach? Is she interrupting the teacher? Or just whispering to other students?
@@MommyAnswerLady i would LOVE to homeschool. But right now financially I’m of able to and she also LOVES going to school 🥺 she’s so excited to just be with her friends and learn new things. She’s talking with her classmates not so much over he teacher.
@@sheseeks-shefinds I would work on making sure you are doing eye to eye time with her twice a day. You don’t want her to become friend oriented. Especially in todays world. Talk to the teacher and get details about their day and how it is happening that she is talking when she shouldn’t. Then I will send you a video that is actually about a child hitting--but the reward system in the video could be adjusted to anything. Then…my suggestion is… If you have to, adjust lifestyle and sacrifice to homeschool. That is the best thing. And she can have plenty of time with friends even when homeschooled. I really hope you can do this. Is she in a private or public school? Here is the video. Watch it and use the bracelet reward to work on talking instead. th-cam.com/video/k6eY3qR3EZc/w-d-xo.html
No, when I say they don't listen, I mean they literally do not listen. If they are FORCED to use their ears and brains, suddenly they're super cooperative and obedient. I literally mean that they DO NOT LISTEN. One of them literally just came and asked if they were grounded from trespassing, and why they can't do it. We have talked about trespassing at least once a week for 6 months! We have covered it from every angle, and she listened to none of it. That's just the biggest example during the past week. Neither of them listen, but the younger one literally never listens, never pays attention, and is perpetually oblivious. She is in serious physical danger at least once a week because she refuses to listen, ever.
As a mommy of four! These tips are so wonderful!

What are the consequences given for not listening?
