I use the infrared heaters when doing the trunk on model 3 and do it in 1 piece of vinyl, 👌🏼 but very nice and neat join with join facing away from line of sight
Aye pro tip if this fs up the first time take a razor a make a pre slit I did that and the pull kept messing up the wrap u precut near the thread like a paper cut it’ll pull clean so cuz it’s not fighting the wrap

You supposed to take the whole thin slip off first before you take the the bottom bit of the vinyl. That way you don't pull out the tip edge of the vinyl.

Some like the door jams to match somewhat. Probably why he went with a similar color. Looks like crap when you take, say a red car and wrap it yellow, leaving the door jams red imo.
If anyone wants to know that didn't work right when he peeled the stripe it lifted the paint off the body of the car and he put his thumb over it to try to push it back down it'll end up peeling up he didn't prep correctly

It’s called a ripcord. Used to strip the outer jacket of a cable. Honestly, great idea for use in the automotive industry looks like it’s works well
