    About how long did the entire process take? I'm tempted to try doing my "new" craiglist couch, but I'm scared of the time commitment. I did do an entire set of dining chairs, so I do have some experience, but a couch seems so much more intense lol

    • @SeetalMD
      @SeetalMD  3 ปีที่แล้ว +13

      yes a couch is intense. mine took me 2 days of working 4 hours a day. so 8 hours in total. the first day I ripped everything and just measured and cut fabric. then the second day I sewed and put together. and this love seat is only a 2 seater really. look at it this way, how much are you willing to put in to learn something by doing? if your project is a fail, you will learn where you went wrong. don't give up. good luck. :)

    • @SeetalMD

      Hi. I used about a little less than 8 metres of fabric which was at 150cm width. I could have used at least 1 metre or slightly more less but because I had a pattern which I had to keep unidirectional, i ended up using most of the 8metres. I probably have like 70cm of fabric left which I could use to make a couple of more standard sized cushions. hope that helps. :)

    Thx for the video, but this is not for beginners. You mention this kind of stitch & that kind & you use a lot of sowing terms that I just lost interest bc I was just reacting to myself, “what….what…..what?” I’m sure you meant well, but it as a bit much for me.

    Everything was fine, but it's so stupid that a person would do this with gold, rings, watches, and polished nails, it's not just clowning anymore, if you're going to put your hands and jewelry on, make a video of it, you're too coo 😂
