Ripper Dom….. made the job look easy mate !! That winch needs some rust converter on it as well 😂 I have 50mm nylon webbing instead of rope on my winch .cheers 🐔 🍻 🐓
Good on you Dom, well done. I am actually putting mine on the hard on Thursday. 25ft and 6 ton. Always makes me stress. Should be able to get her cleaned, anti fouled and back in, in two days.......Then, fishing. Cheers.......
Well done trailer fixer man ! Lol , Thankyou for the insight , I am just looking at my set up mmm I am going to get the jack out shortly and do a bit of adjustment of my own ! Cheers Geoff 👍😀
Good Job Dom, i woulda been shitting myself gettin the boat onto the tyres. Gettin it back on didnt seem too bad though. I've got some trailer work that needs to be done soon though so was good to see this whole process. Cheers mate.
Looks bloody good Dom There used to be that joint in Morley called Clark rubber I wonder if they have anything that could go on those skids on the side thats a bit spongy……
You’ve done an amazing job dom I’ll take all your advice in this video and rewatch it in the long term future when I eventually get myself a boat gotta love going out for a fish and the last step is to just kick back and crack open a can of bush chook smoke a cigar (if anyone chooses too like me) and enjoy the fish and squid flying into the boat hahaha gotta love life things like that going out fishing and going on adventures camping you name it plenty of things to do in nature nothing more beautiful
Fantastic work mate. You actually made it look easy. My skids dont sit right under my hull because its slightly curved. I was told they dont need to be hard up against because all the weight should be on the keel. So im not sure if i should do it hard so it matches the curve of the hull or just have gaps between the skids and hull👌👍
Thanks alot mate. Thats right 70% should be in the keel, however no gaps in my oppinion..just raise them a fraction and see if the boat slightly tilts around corners when trailing 👍
Nice work Don, I have same issue with my boat trailer. I wonder if you be able to pass me the phone number of person who done work on your trailer, will be appreciated.
C'mon Dom its not rocket science , im giving you a comment because it helps your channel, but seriously man, this is pretty basic stuff and you are capable of way better content! No offense!
