Wow just wow and I’m only through not even half way through the video. I’m at 3:50 where the camper is extended out on your left side of your engine guards? And I’m already saying, I’m want one for Christmas!!!! Ok now let me finish watching the rest of the video.
The insta360 camera has been a game changer for my motovlogs! I love how easy it is to set up and change positions with the mount and it stays on, in one place! no worries about it falling off, lol!! The invisible selfie stick is so cool! It does add more time to your editing process but like you said Heather if there is something you are talking about that you passed on the ride, you know it's on the 360 footage...somewhere, lol!!
Love it... I've seen videos with the 360 but never saw the camera shown like this. I always wondered how it worked. It almost looks like a drone shot. Thanks you safe riding.
This is probably the best purchase I made for my bike and I even got a nice discount thanks to your channel. Every rider should get one of these 360’s if not for capturing scenery or vlogging than you should buy one for safety reasons. If you ever get in an accident this camera captures EVERYTHING! Traffic lights/signs, all cars around you and the resolution is so high quality that you can even zoom in and catch license plates. The possibilities are endless with the editing, it’s so smooth with no vibration at all and with the horizon stabilization and disappearing base it really does look like a drone is following you around.
U sold me on the Insta 360. Anything that can save us the editing and angle shots is priceless. Time is priceless and from what I can tell I can just have so many different angles with one take. Ty for the info and video.
Great job explaining the camera and changing the mounts and angles Heather! It really becomes all about editing once you understand what the camera can do (it does everything)!
love it. i hated the 360 at first , the fish eye on road rides got me dizzy, but your editing has totally change my mind. you really got a hand at this. awesome!!!!
We bought one when it first came out. Was cool and unique at first, now everyone has them. I do think it is a lot better than the other 360 cameras. Good review
Yeah I also don't know much about camera settings etc as they are usually so complex anyway. I'm a point and click type a guy like a simple mobile. That's cool the 360deg camera records everything 😎. Luv all the different views. Awesome 👍. Great vid 🎥. Looks like a beautiful day there.
Great overview of the camera. I just ordered on on Black Friday. Beautiful scenery. I am a bit farther north of you, but it looks looks riding around here. - Frank
Good morning, Happy Thanksgiving to you and hubby. Hope he's gettin better. It's great seeing you on your Low Rider S. That 360 camera It's amazing thank you for sharing. Then your a beginner at this cool.
Absolutely love my Insta360 One X2. And I like how they are continuing to make it work easier. It has come a long way in the year I've had it. I really like the idea of the new transfer connection. You should check out the couple of full 360° videos I have done with it on my channel. Nice job on the review.
I used to set up three cameras to do a shoot/ride. Now I rarely set up more than my GoPro Max. Now I will say in hind sight I wish I had bought the Insta360 OneX. It seems a better tool, a little more friendly, sturdier design, and so on.
I have a OneX2 as well. Love it, and pretty easy to edit. Loving it, and talked a mate into one as well. Keyframes are key.🤘 must admit, not a fan of Tiny world. All else is brilliant. But I don't have a selfie stick. Maybe later.😁
I’m not a camera guy either. I worry about the editing and if I can mix the footage with my GoPro and IPhone footage. I’m old so it takes me a little longer to figure things out.
Great video! 360 camera provides so much versatility, not to mention epic videos and shots! I use both the GOPROMAX and this one you featured. I find the video quality on GoPro is slightly better however, both amazing cameras 🤙
@@MotoBlonde Actually, the quality looked great. I meant coming out if camera, I feel the GoPro color is better but it may be personal preference, your video looked great!
That was my deciding factor in the 360 - I feel like the GoPro was a little better in that sense, but user friendliness won with the Insta360 for me when I was comparing them before I bought it
@@MotoBlonde Spot on. Insta post editing is way easier and better for sure. I bought the insta and first run fell off and smashed it. 🤦♂️ they sent me a replacement but came faulty and now have to wait again. 😂 Luckily I still have the GOPROMAX.
i really dig watching videos made with these....i was really liking the video from the sissy mount, but just on the handlebar was actually really good also...i bet you had to be aware when that thing was way off the engine guard! lol
I like the computer software the best - the new update they just did made it SO much easier than when I first got it early this year. I never thought about it for hunting - that's genius!
i love the footage from the 360 but the con to getting one is the price tag ,, i bought a drone for only 3rd of the cost ,,i'll be adding the drone footage for my Channel coming this spring . maybe one day i might be able to afford a 360 .. but until then i'll stick to using my drone .. great video as always
Just curious if you're still working as a PLMaintainer, and how many years you have been in the trade.l spent 37 years in the trade here in Ontario Canada. I use to ride when I was younger and gave it up. Just bought a loaded goldwing and matching trailer and riding again in the last couple of months.
So here's my thing - I don't edit on my phone/iPad - but that's super easy (360 app). I edit on the computer in the 360 studio software, and I think it's really easy, especially with the new update its great. I tried the plug-in to edit in premier pro, and I don't like it. So, while it does add another step (which is understandable because you have to pick the angle you want the footage), it definitely is easy, I didn't have to watch 30 YT videos on how to do it, and definitely worth it for the footage. Hopefully that helps!
fancy pants! look at you !!!! really awesome perspective you offer here . super specific for the bike community . Well done MB! How is the battery life ? thanks 🙏🏽
@@MotoBlonde I have a GoPro 360Max and while I think the quality may be a bit better with the GoPro, the battery life with this one makes it a great choice. Now you’ve got me seriously adding this to the stable!
It seems pretty smooth, like there’s no noticeable high frequency vibration from the bike. Is that a feature built into the camera’s software (like the new GoPros) or is there something extra you have to achieve that (certain settings, different mounts etc)? How do you like the file types for editing, are they easy to edit in with your GoPro files?
I am not techy, so I literally took it out of the box and haven’t changed any settings since. It has amazing stabilization built in. I did use the motorcycle mount and a selfie stick attached for some of the shots, and there’s also a waistband if you don’t have any good points of attachment on the bike. For editing, the Insta360 software on mobile or desktop is very easy, and then I can add it into premiere with my GoPro videos. But there is a plugin for premiere that you can edit it all in premiere, I just am not very experienced in that.
Very cool camera but how do you operate it? Anyone who knows you can answer. I figure it’s remote control of some kind but I never see your hands move around when it spins. ???
I don’t do anything except hit the on/off button! It records 360 degrees and has 2 lenses, so when you go back to look at the footage you can move the view to where you want it to be afterwards!
I pretty much just used the motorcycle mount and the selfie stick - I did show the waist strap in one shot since the bike I was on in that shot didn’t have a sissy bar.
I came here to see if you were OK, like a lot of people. I'm not sure why you popped into my head, but maybe it was from watching a lot of female riders?

Some of the shots are pretty cool, but when it gets really “fisheye” looking with really curvy distortion, I change to another channel. Looking at that extreme distortion - like seeing the road in front and behind you at the same time, makes me nauseated.
Fair enough! I don't do some of the crazy effects in normal editing on my vlogs because it can make me dizzy too! But definitely wanted to show all the cool effects you can achieve with this.

Sorry you don’t like it! I don’t ever do the crazy shots when I edit the videos (see the NY mountain ride a few videos back) - just use it to capture behind me, the side etc. It gives great footage all around me which I wouldn’t achieve with the GoPro - I know some people don’t like the bubble stuff so I leave it out on normal videos - just trying to show the different things the 360 can do here on this one.

All through the editing software, you really just drag it to what angle you want to see! It's so easy.
Where is Moto Blonde now???
How long is your selfie stick when you use the belt?
I didn't measure it - for the RG shot on the belt, I had it extended all the way, but even if it was lower you could get a smilier effect.
