We just follow the directions on the box for our tea. We do use decaf tea though.

@Krisri N. We use the Walmart Great Value tea. We've been using that same brand for many years. Marie will bring the water almost to a boil and then remove from the heat and add the tea bags for 15 minutes. Most of our family like their tea unsweetened. We usually add some artificial sweetener to our individual glasses of tea.

Love to see the two of u cooking together. My husband passed in January n I miss him so much. Nobody to cook for. I Have questions: Can u deep fry okra like French fries so u don't have to turn it? The cake looks delicious. Does the cherries get hard n does the juice from the cherries mess up the consistency of the chocolate, over time? I always say, if u drop a box, a spoon, a lid from a spice jar, or whatever into ur prep bowl, u r just adding a little extra flavor or ingredients to the mixture!! LOL U two r so cute I think I will adopt u both!!

So glad to see you are feeling better Marie! My husband says he’s going to try frying the okra like you do. Is it still frozen when you start frying? It sounded like it was. I’m gonna whip up that cake this weekend too. We done a lemon one two weeks ago but it called for the lemon supreme cake mix, one can lemon pie filling and three eggs. It was almost like lemon sponge cake. It was pretty good!! Love those low ingredient meals!!
