That spaghetti looks so tasty. It's an economical dsh that can use up a lot of leftovers, and I like the fact that you used a hot plate to cook it. I have to buy one. Our tastes are similar because I don't like too much sauce, either.

I drain my hamburger meat and also run the colander with the hamburger meat in it under very hot water to get the rest of the grease off. You can also add some grated credit into spaghetti sauce for some extra vegetables. If kids don't like the bell peppers, mushrooms, and onions (and grated carrots if you use them), you can puree that with the sauce in a blender before adding it to the meat and the kids will get all the nutritional value without seeing the green peppers and onions - LOL!

Glad Marie is better. I haven't been to Piccadilly in years. My Mom and I used to eat there a lot. I cook my noodles the same way. I've never put peppers in my spaghetti.. I need to try that. I bet it gives it good flavor. Everytime my son comes home he ask Mom will you make your spaghetti... he loves it. I always make sure to buy what I need before he is here because I know he will ask lol. You made a nice looking meal Calvin.

Good looking spaghetti 🍝 I like to make mine half ground beef and half Italian sausage and my family likes it with a thinner spaghetti like angel hair. When I worked a a restaurant we would also freeze our extra diced onions, peppers and celery. Great tip for adding to your favorite recipe including soup like chili. i havent been to picadilly in years, i used to visit my foster grandmom down in georgia, id stay 2 summer months down there from the time i was 7 until i was 16, went to picadilly and it was delicious, i think i had like fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, and think it was potato wedges that were seasoned cajun style. 💕 me and my mom used to buy newmans own sockarooni sauce and we just loved it, it's very easy to make it homemade too. im just so thankful and glad she taught me how to cook and make good food to live on and taught me to be independent. of course sometimes ill ocassionally go to walmart and pick up newmans own sockarooni sauce (unfortunately the kroger i live by, they stopped selling them) but that sauce always makes me think of her, and my dad cause he loved his spaghetti too (he was a marine, honorably discharged, he passed away in 1993 from a heart attack at the age of 29) (he completed his marine duties in the late 80s) and you guys are such a cute couple. and me and my mom bonded alot when we would go to dollar tree, that was me and her favorite place to go to.
