    Good afternoon Calvin and Marie. This meal looks so good. We like the Mississippi beef, will try the chops. Marie I saw you say on a stool while at the stove, looks just the right height for the stove & counter top. I need to get one as I can't stand for a long time , my hubby keeps saying that I need one. Love to cook , but it is difficult at times, the legs just give out. Thanks for all you do, take care . Sending 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏.

    Just want to share a tip I learned from working at a steak house. When your baked potatoes are done. Along with a vertical cut slice it horizontal just a bit, enough to wear you can pinch and squeeze the goodies out. Im sorry if that doesn't make sense..but it works.

    What is it about those pepperoncini peppers that makes meats so good? I've made beef roast, pork roast and chicken like this and it's so delicious! It only got up to 56 degrees in Virginia today. I was glad for the cool weather because we helped our son and his wife move to a new house. So excited for them! Have a good weekend! Love & Prayers ❤🙏

    I put olive oil and sea salt on my potatoes when I bake them also. However, ive not used the parchment paper to wrap them in. Does it keep them moist n fluffy or do you know what it does different? Potatoes are good for you ! As long as they aren’t fried. I have chik fil a waffle fries n strips today, so good but I do t need to be eating them fried.
    Looks delicious!

    Really lovely Marie. I will try this tonight. I am going paralized so have to use walker and sit some. Are the peppers ones you canned? Are they hot jalapeños? I may try it with a few of the fresh jalapeño sized red. Green and yellow sweet peppers that come in a bag. Thank you for this great recipe. Nancy from Iowa.

    About how many minutes around about do u cook your bake potato in the microwave cause mine are always over done and real dry ?

    • @SouthernCountryLiving
      @SouthernCountryLiving  ปีที่แล้ว

      I use the potato settings on the microwave. It will average about 12 minutes for two average size potatoes. These were very large and I cooked them for a few minutes longer. I use a pot holder to squeeze the sides of the potatoes and when they are soft I get them out. They will overcook if they stay in there too long.

    When you are browning meat you need to be on high heat, and not move the meat until it gets a sear, otherwise you are waisting your time and energy.
