Moved here from Las Vegas and so glad I did. Tucson is laid back, friendly and enjoyable. It's a great place to live. The only complaint I have is the lack of freeways. It definitely could use a cross town freeway or a loop freeway. That aside, I'm very glad I moved to Tucson.
Couldn't agree more!
I was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona. What makes you an expert on living in Tucson. Vehicular and pedestrian fatalities have hit all time due to no traffic enforcement, police response times have increased, due to police staffing decrease. Homeless camps are out of control. County Attorney does not file charges on shoplifting, and minor crimes. I could go on.
To be honest that's everywhere and I live in Canada
What you're describing is pretty much a national problem.
If you ride bikes just count on it being stolen. I was raised in Tucson and will always have my heart but the homeless population are ridiculous. I've lived in Boston, Manhattan and finally moved to northwest Arkansas for good. I miss the food but not the many thieves living there.
Yeah, That's what happens when California people flee here and then vote in the policies they fled in the first Place.
@@FenderBender5150 Don't blame Californians for home-grown problems. Some self introspecting and honesty with yourself is good for the soul.
5th gen Tucsonan here - the history and nuances of the city are steeped in BE YOURSELF, smart and of high integrity. The current mayor is a loser, but hopefully the next one will act smart and be open to all races and new ideas.
A lot of truth to what you said!!! Current Mayor is a major looser
If you like the party life... don't come here, they roll up the streets by 11PM, maybe 10PM. Where I came from the clubs were open til 0200 or pater and then out to eat. And few big name concerts. It works fine for me, I'm over partying, but just a heads up.
OK
Idk what parties you talkin about bc every bar every club I’ve been to closes at 2 am or later here in Tucson
I decided to move here 2 years ago and love it but, the traffic seriously pisses me off
Traffic can be such a headache, but glad to hear you're enjoying your new place!
Thank you for the amazing details. I'll be moving to Tucson next year for my job and you just made me think that I'll thoroughly enjoy my time there. I'm really looking forward to it!
We moved here from Seattle and love it here. Feel free to call anytime for anything
Having lived there, you have my condolences.
Exactly
Even though I've lived here for a little while, I learned so much! And I enjoyed your presentation style - very engaging!
Awesome! Thank you!
Having lived in Shite Creek Arizona akaThe Old Pueblo I can honestly say.. happiness is it shrinking in your rear view mirror.
Thanks for sharing
I agree. Tucson sucks. I'm selling everything and leaving. From what I've seen, don't go out after dark, don't go to an atm at dark, watch your car because your catalytic converter will get stolen. Mine did after just being here 2 months. Be aware everywhere you go because everywhere people are stealing, someone is racing the streets, stealing, fighting, hitting cars and let's talk about the driving here....constant accidents and zombies roaming the streets on meth, thank, fetanal and who knows what else! Been here a year and HATE IT!
So many drugs here it's disgusting. I went to the store the other day a a young girl in just underwear and see through bray recording herself in the parking lot fondling herself! Grossly overrated here in Tucson! I had a bunch of family here and everyone left. I went to meet someone to buy a bookshelf in the Frys parking lot and got robbed! This place is CRAZY!
Hi! Your channel was recommended to me by the algorithm (I’m obsessed with Arizona ☺️) and it sure was nice to see you shout out San Antonio where I live! Great video! New subscriber! 🏜️
Thanks for watching! San Antonio is a great place too!
Lol me2!!! Casa grande specifically I can't wait to move there is it a good location?
If you are from California then just keep driving to Texas. 🫠
Haha, that's one way to escape traffic, just keep driving to Texas!
If you’re a liberal Californian just head west 🌊🪼
Awesome video. Thanks!
Thank you!

Fond memories
I first visited Tucson in 1960. Fell in love then and now. Fortunately I got to live there about 12+ years. I would move back in a heartbeat if I could. Yeah there's issues. And pedestrians walk anywhere at anytime. Traffic is a nightmare. Jobs are iffy as employers don't pay much. Rent is thru the roof. Housing market is getting out of most people's budgets. The city is too fragmented and I hear stories of how City counsel has tons of infighting. Unless you have a good job lined up or have great retirement money move elsewhere. Drugs crime and more crime. I lived at Grant/Alvernon and never had an issue. Is Tucson perfect? Nope. But I'd still move back if I could.
Not to that address. Bad news now.
Grant/Alvernon? Very bad neighborhood now. Tucson started going bad about 20 years ago. It is not what you remember. Unfortunately it has been destroyed...
Great video my dude! 🌞
Appreciate it
Tucson Has Changed since the Pandemic and hasn’t recovered.
Pandemic had a big impact on new home builders. Most are doing well now.
dude that soundtrack is murder (but thx for the info)
I know.... I've passed that on to the editing team
Lived here for almost a decade these people are some of the worst drivers I've ever seen in my life, these people don't even understand basic driving laws. Not to mention every third vehicle seems to be a semi truck.
if you have lived in Las Vegas for even 6 months and driving around you wouldn't be posting this as you'd be dead.
Jackie Daytona highly recommends Tuscon, Arizonia as a great place to live!
Great video. Ive been in Tuscon only a couple days. I was recently talking with someone here about valley fever. Can you share some info in this? I know you are not a medical professional. Im asking because all my excitement has turned to fear of going outside now. I just dont know much about it in general and online research is back and forth ranging from 'its nothing to worry about' to a much more concerning view. Thanks
I've only ever heard of one person getting it in the 18 years we've lived here.
@@LivingInTucsonArizonareally? We have a friend that got it there while visiting their son.
I've lived in phx for 30+ years and never gave it a thought
My son in law got Valley Fever when they went camping at Patagonia and they were doing construction work with a lot of dirt/dust in the air. No one else got it...we lived in Tucson for 27 years. So I guess it depends on your own immune system and how much you dig. I hope you enjoy your time there. We moved back to Iowa! LOL
If you have a dog that digs, have them tested regularly.
I don't see any of this as a problem, but then again I spend 7 years of my childhood in Blythe. And any place has trade-offs.
Wow! Blyth!! That’s super 😎. Thanks for sharing that!
@@LivingInTucsonArizona Well, then I'll share more: I'm landing in Tuscon next month and buying a house; not joking :)
Did you mention that summer is 6 mos long from May to November?
Summer just can't get enough of us, can it?
Tucson needs a good scrubbing. City leaders need to do a better job keeping the public streets and sidewalks clean and free of weeds.
True it's crappy looking
Mike and Jules from Redbar Radio live in Tucson. It’s really kind of a joke at this point.
I like turtles.
So many of our buyers do
how or where do you get your dog rattlesnake trained? Thanx
The Humane Society actually does them. There are a few others out there too. Well worth doing.
Pet smart too!
Ask your vet. And keep a look out for Valley Fever.
too many Illegal Aliens in Tucson.
Are you sure?
Welcome to Arizona. No Go Home. Thank You!
An Ed Abbey quote from a bumper sticker
Not the end of May the first week in May school let's out
Thanks for the comment. Last day in our neck of the woods for students is May 23rd.
I love Tucson.
That's awesome to hear! Tucson is a great place.
My mom liked your video
That's awesome to hear, tell your mom I said thanks for watching!
Don't even need to watch this. Anything you can do to stop people moving here and raising housing prices...
Those old fart snowbirds ugh!!!
Haha, they do have a way of taking over the roads!
Don’t move to Tucson. Stay in the east if you live in the east. There’s already enough people in AZ.
The East is only about 30% of incoming we see. The majority are from the west coast
PLEASE! Stay out of Tucson! STAY in California!
None of you realators ever mention anything about rv living. How is the full time rv living scene?
Also, DUDE.......KILL THE MUSIC!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the input on the music! I've passed that onto my editing team! (You're not the first to say that)
The full time rv living scene isn't in our wheelhouse. However we do rv and there is some fantastic rving all over the state. Our favorite spots are up in the White Mountains near Payson. The Magollon rim is definitely #1 in our book.
Forget that terrible place. I might as well move next door to Satan in hell for the insane heat.
How about bums and homeless scene? Does the heat discourage people camping in alleys and the desert?
That’s probably the most fun comment I’ve ever had.. 🤣
@@UpcomingJedi NOpe..
You're a bit dramatic; most states have bath weather, some heat in the summer aint the end of the world esp considering the rest of the year is damn near perfect.
don't know what tucson you are talking about
The one in Southern Arizona
Open border
Go Florida worst place on earth
Beautiful area there. Glad you're enjoying it!
IN FROM TUCSON WE DONT LIKE OUTSIDERS..... ESPECIALLY FROM THE WEAK COAST......
