This indicates the U.S. is among the worst country in dealing with homelessness given the power, money, and resources it has. With similar amount of power and resources, Japan literally puts the U.S. to shame on this issue. There are homeless people in Japan, but they are manageable and in a much smaller scale than the ones existing in the U.S. In fact, what I have seen in Philly, Skid Row and many other U.S. cities are far worst than many poor cities in East and Southeast Asian cities; you don't see zombies in those Asian cities.
I can’t believe people are more worried about the dogs than this man. They’re in the trailer for the interview. People need to listen. He doesn’t have trash service. He said he gives the dogs to whoever wants one. What about the dogs in cages at shelters or the pound? I’d say they’re better here with a caring owner. Get one of his dogs or go help clean his place up. Smh.
With all due respect, the dogs are kept in the trailers all the time, he said, or else the neighbor that doesn't like him tries to run them over, not just for the interview. I also think he keeps them in there to keep them from being bitten by snakes, like he was several times. He is free to live anyway he wants...and is free to come and go as he wants...meanwhile the dogs are stuck in a hot RV with no fans or A/C in the hot Arizona heat all the time. Dogs in shelters are not treated like this...they are in a climate controlled building and taken care of by vets and out for walks and petted by shelter volunteers, and possibly adopted out to loving homes that can afford dogs. No matter how well meaning this nice gentleman is, most of those dogs should be taken from him with him allowed to keep a certain number only...if told this is the way it is, he'll be just fine with it. I wonder if a-n-y of those dogs have e-v-e-r seen a vet. He is barely taking care of those dogs as it is. That's why we're concerned,
You need a reality check. The man chose this type of life. The dogs had no choice. The shelters are full and once the old man kicks the bucket, the temperature in that RV will eventually hit 120 degrees, the water and food will be gone, and they will slowly be baked alive...

That poor man has Parkinson's or something. I very much doubt his shaking is from giving plasma. His living conditions just break my heart. I don't know how those dogs can stay cool enough in those campers without electricity. We have failed our people here, yet give billions to other countries to fight in wars we have no business being in. Not to mention we now have over seven million illegal immigrants to house, feed and clothe who are taking any resources we had left, kicking Veterans out of nursing homes to make room for them.
This is absolutely rediculous. Far too many dogs couped up in campers. What's with all the junk piled up everywhere??? His heart has decieved him. These type of people do not understand, they lack rational decision making, And you can clearly see and hear him. I must admit, He has a big heart, but the heart is a big deciever. Mr. Big Super Living in Arizona, Thanks for allowing this gentleman to tell his story. For anyone who lives out here, it boggles the mind how anyone who does not have air conditioning, proper shelter can tolerate the summers( Late June until mid September), and exposure to elements can survive. I guess the human body can adapt? I will say a prayer for this gentleman.
I'm homeless in Arizona. This has come to frustration within the last year and I just turned 45 Oct 6. From what I have seen for the most part is the situation is the result of one of two things #1 drug and alcohol addiction #2 mental illness and a very small percentage is made up of people who choose not to participate in society in what would be considered a "normal" way as in working and paying taxes just to exist
There's truth to your statement about living modestly. I'm not even an extravagant person and sometimes boggles the mind to listen to other people I know talking about how they are struggling because they believe their wants are needs. In many ways many Americans take things for granted and have become practically addicted to convenience and instant gratification, and unless we are part of the top tier of earners have worried about the state of things at one point or another.
Sweet soul..he definitely does love the dogs..no question but sometimes love isn't enough...he should just keep the 2 dogs that are free to roam by his side.
You got a tour of Arizona hoarders going on now! I feel for this guy, he has a good heart and deserves to live better than this. I wonder if he would be open to rescue groups taking a few to rehome? A lot of the time, hoarders are very resistant to anyone helping them clean up. There is no garbage pick up where I live, so I take a small bag of garbage with me when I go to to town, I dont let it pile up. That brings rats which attracts the snakes, and other vermin. There are a lot of flies around his "loved ones". They can get bites on their ears from them.. that he is living out of his truck.. I would worry he will get heat stroke..
You answered your own question. He wouldn’t be open to anything because mentally he is extremely rigid. His hoarding habits and his extreme protectiveness of the dogs. This man is very old and his habits are well set. Move him into a nice house, and no matter how big the house was, within a year it would be filled with junk and dogs.

I feel really sorry for this man. It’s heartbreaking. I like how some people seem more concerned about animals than they are about this man. Yeah he shouldn’t have so many dogs. Obviously, he’s very lonely, not in good health and in distress. I love animals. I have dogs. I used have a guinea pig. Birds, I’ve got fish. I take care of stray cats. When a beautiful cat that somebody dropped off out here, has kittens, they end up coming up to the door at few weeks old , we take them in, domesticate them and find homes for them. I’ve done that four times. PAWs won’t help me, they don’t even have the decency to get back to me and tell me that they can’t help get this poor cat fixed so she won’t have kittens every six months. This man needs help probably mental help also. But when it comes to people, I’m more concerned about people. This man sounds like the guy that lived at the slabs and created Salvation Mountain. The shift from caring about humans to animals instead baffles me. Before the dog nuts go off on me, I had ten old, sick, big dogs dumped at my place in addition to my own dog and I cared for and loved them until they passed away. I just don't understand today's mentality of putting your dogs' rights over people. Where is your humanity?
@@Galen-864 for me, that’s the easiest part of understanding his situation in my eyes…. Animals love us back unconditionally, never cheat on us and don’t care what we look like, the same can’t be said for humans. My dogs care if I live or die, people couldn’t care less.

He said he doesn't let them out EVER because the neighbor that doesn't like him tries to run them over. So they are stuck living in an overheated RV all the time sitting in their own excrement until he comes to clean...and I don't know how well he can clean with all those dogs in there...I doubt he lets them out for that. None of those dogs have seen a vet e-v-e-r, I bet you. This is no way for a dog to live....barely existing in a cramped overheated RV in their own filth and some dog food and water changed or given probably once a day? And that's not necessarily true that a shelter would just end up killing most of them if they truck them to various shelters in different areas, clean them up, have them see a vet, socialize them if needed, and advertise them for adoption. At least they would have a good life until the end or have the chance of being adopted out. How many dogs do you think this guy gives away in this down-and-out neighborhood?
That's why we're concerned,
Everyone always cares about their damn dogs over human beings
Those animals need to be rescued from him
I agree. The man has a right to live the way he wants to. I love how he calls them his loved ones.
You need a reality check. The man chose this type of life. The dogs had no choice.
The shelters are full and once the old man kicks the bucket, the temperature in that RV will eventually hit 120 degrees, the water and food will be gone, and they will slowly be baked alive...

I will say a prayer for this gentleman.
I'm homeless in Arizona. This has come to frustration within the last year and I just turned 45 Oct 6. From what I have seen for the most part is the situation is the result of one of two things #1 drug and alcohol addiction #2 mental illness and a very small percentage is made up of people who choose not to participate in society in what would be considered a "normal" way as in working and paying taxes just to exist
thank you for for honest comment.100 % true
I wish I could drop out.
100% true. 95% of homeless in America choose that life.
Being homeless causes mental illness and addiction as a way of coping.

Yeah, is is actually making his property appealing to snakes with all the trash. As concerned with snakes as he is, he is creating his own problem.

I know everyone is talking about the dogs but most of them would be put down if taken to the pound . Atleast he cleans out after them and feeds and waters them and lets them out. He had a pile of blankets out because he said they all just got there fresh blankets.
I'm guessing not many, if any. He's a wonderful guy with all good intentions, but he just has too many animals to take care of.

You're given one dollar to spend and they're price is three dollars to buy😮
But We the People's keep taking it😢
We should arrange a Go Fund Me.
This is really upsetting. Extremely worried.
Go for it!
@@MK-hh1vo I think that's a good idea but I wonder if he would just use the $ to buy a new or fix up his old truck...and would live the same way (as well as the dogs) in the end? There are a lot of senior services that he is eligible for...he choses to live this way.
He'd prolly get another camper and get more dogs to fill them with
An animal hoarder I do believe.
Life in the USA can be painful 🏜
Those RVs get really hot and summertime and those dogs are basically being hotbox. Yes, those dogs are probably living in their own 💩 it’s unfortunate.
Wouldn’t say he’s homeless sheet he has what 4 homes he’s just a little different lol, but those poor dogs trapped in the dilapidated motor homes is sad
Wittmann . There are tweeker camps popping up all over the place there .

Yeah, we'll leave that part to the professional's if that is the case.
It's the middle of the desert. They try to be mindful and be out of regular society way....until the yuppies want to move and act shocked 🤦♀️ seriously stop embarrassing yourself. You probably bought or will buy dope from this guy at some point of your life
Another good one Big Super blessings to this elder.
This man needs help. I'm wondering how many dogs he has. Those vehicles get too hot too. I wish a rescue group could incorporate him into a sanctuary situation..
G'day from Coffs Harbour NSW Australia - I'm enjoying your videos and channel. Thank you for sharing.
