As someone who struggles with holding grudges the idea of Patrick forgiving his slavers melts my heart. The world would be a much happier place if we could all follow his example.

The funny thing is even if now I'm dealing with doubt and feeling awful...I can't help but cry every time I hear this part of the song: I just preached him who saved me for those who enslaved me. May Christ continue to show me his great patience and mercy and love so I could preach him to those who need him.

While this is really funny, the main song is actually incredible. The lyrics and rhyming are impressive; and the melody is catchy.
This is now an annual St Patrick’s Day tradition right up there with corned beef and green foods
As my own hand has written,

This is the most phenomenal and informational musical on St. Patrick’s life that I’ve ever seen!
All the jokes in this video aside, I think you have one of the best tenor voices, Reverend Fiene. I love traditional folk music (unusual for my age), and thine vibrato works perfectly with that style.
I’m a child of the 70s so it surprised me when I recognized the man in the boat with Patrick. Was that George “The Animal” Steele? Thanks for that mental image, it’s now permanently etched into my mind.
