    I like the point you made about mounting as many as possible. I'm not sure what you paid for those and as cool as the flipping feature is I have 2led front, 2 side and 2 rear all for under $25 with 4 lights left in the kit to put on another tractor. I've found the inexpensive but well built lights do great and are a fraction of the cost of the fancy name brand stuff.

    Have you added a horn to your tractor? I'm looking for a good horn kit for the bx2380. Love your videos!

      I’ve thought about it, haven’t quite got around to doing it yet. I think it would be a pretty simple install. I wouldn’t get a super load train horn, but maybe just a decent horn louder than a VW bug anyway.

    Where did you get your rocker switches from that go with that cab?

    • @ritterjon

      They are the switches that came with the Curtis cab. I’d like to know myself because I’d like to get a couple more.

    Do you find you wishing the lights had blinders on them?

    • @ritterjon
      @ritterjon  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't have that issue with the cab so I'm not sure if would would really need blinders. I would think with the adjustability it should be a problem.

    Hi Jon! Well those are very impressive LED lights! So you and I have something else in common: we both love LED lights! I think you know that if you’ve seen the lighting on my tractor. Thanks for sharing!

    • @ritterjon
      @ritterjon  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      LED's are great, I love that they draw such a low amperage so there's really no limits on how many you can put on the machine. More lights planned for sure.

    Cool lights!
    Your tractor always looks like it’s in showroom condition.
    Will you post a video of you cleaning your machine?
    Thanks

    • @ritterjon
      @ritterjon  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      You really want to see a cleaning video. I’ll see what I can do. I used spray on turtle wax for my snowblower chute to keep snow from sticking and I usually spray a little on the hood and fenders. I also always wash the mower deck to get as much life out of it as possible.

    They are cool lights. Honestly I still prefer my relatively cheap magnetic lights. I can also reposition them and also remove them easily. I don't like to leave mine on as I need to drop the rops to clear some low tree branches when mowing.

    • @ritterjon
      @ritterjon  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’ve got some magnetic light ideas in the works. In fact I just placed an amazon order minutes ago. You’ll have to watch to see what I got in mind. It will be different for sure!

    That's what I need for my Kommander! I bought some other cheap LED's on Amazon but have not come up with a great idea for mounting them or where to mount them. My ROPS folds a few different ways, what are your thoughts or how can I find some? Wow found them on their website, $250 dollars! Spendy is right

  • @eosjoe565

    We appreciate the reviews and we know Artillian makes decent stuff but at the end of the day you have to ask yourself, would you have purchased these yourself for $250 had Artillian not sent them to you for free? I'm thinking no. Yes, they have an interesting mount but given that you can get a PAIR of LED work lights that are twice as bright for around $30, the mount and wires just isn't worth over $200. There are plenty of other mounts that allow you to rotate the lights although not necessarily with the innovative locking mechanism. I think for the money Artillian could have used brighter lights and done a better job with the wiring harness as with the way that wiring loop hangs out there to allow for the rotation it could easily get snagging by trees and bushes and torn off. So definitely a 10/10 for innovative design but IMHO unfortunately a 4/10 on value.

    • @ritterjon
      @ritterjon  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      For myself? Probably not, however, for someone looking for top of the line quality and reputation who isn't that handy about wiring or creating light options it's probably a good deal. Do I think they are overpriced for what they are? At this point I would say yes because I don't think Artillian has been able to produce them fast enough. I think it's a supply and demand issue right now. I do think the price will come down eventually.

    Hey John - I found a really nice product for connecting wires - check out Wago Lever Nuts - they are a little expensive, but can be reused in the event you mod the mod. There are also cheaper knock off brands that some on the TH-cam have done comparisons. Nice light - nice mod - cheers

    Do you still have the factory bulbs installed in your headlights, or did you upgrade those to LED elements as well?
