This was actually the 2nd time they performed Creep on Masked Singer - the first was when they were still masked up (and sounded virtually identical). This was their "farewell" after they were unmasked. Notice that unlike most unmaskings, the show let them sing the entire song (well, as much as they originally did, due to TV time constraints), unlike most unmaskings which are cut off at the station break I think they realized just how impressive a group they had on stage!
They have used musical instruments on occasion- Kevin’s cello, of course, Scott on piano and Matt on drums - and this was an opportunity to expand into even more instruments. I’m eager to see if they continue down that road with PTX. BTW, Scott said he did try to disguise his voice for their first appearance on the show, but for fans their identity was obvious right away. It never gets old, that video of them doing Creep on the MS. FYI...Scott hoying has just released his first solo album today and it's amazing!! Please do a couple of reactions to a few of the songs from it. Parallel ( the song) and Mars both have music videos. Scott sang the song Four to Mark at their wedding and it's just lovely.
To everyone, call your local radio stations and keep requesting ptx songs. Its unbelievable to me they dont get more radio play except around christmas.
I think the reaction of the audience reflects your point exactly!!! Even in America they are underrated or even unknown…this performance opened a lot of eyes!!!! Thanks for the reaction….
Thank you for reacting to this live Pentatonix performance after they were unmasked. They were great on the show. Pentatonix toured UK/Europe during May. They toured London, Manchester, Italy, France, Germany, Poland, Hungary, Iceland and other places that I can't remember now. The crowds were large and very happy to attend the concerts. Some of the reactors that I watch went to some of the Pentatonix concerts over there. Possibly the best performance The Masked Singer has ever had. I think the only other person with comparable talent to grace the stage was Harp Mask. That's my opinion of course but I've seen every season and I just think PTX were the absolute best act on the show and Creep was the pinnacle of their talent. Total Eclipse of the Heart was another great performance but where everyone got a solo. Paparazzi was another Scott-lead song but he killed it (but we all knew it was him immediately). They placed third (very suspiciously might I add) and let's be honest....the top 2? Nowhere near PTX's level, especially the singer who won. But again this is all my opinion lol.
i wish they would be played on the radio only " can't sleep love" ever made it on the radio and either without the rap or with a female rapper guesting to do the rap. i think the fact that three of them are lgbtq might still be keeping them off the radio. I think superfruit which is mitch and scott should be on the radio as well they are all originals and are all amazing!
