According to Matt @ DTG, the very low level of spray particle effects are being addressed, it should look more like the steam/snow effect
so as usual they released a DLC with built in bugs

Out of curiosity is there a way to get the rail treatment cars to be pulled by a different locomotive? Kinda wanna take that out but on a US line with US locomotive. Like maybe have a GP clean the tracks on Sand Patch

I mean it basically is a US locomotive (kinda). But yeah, I take your point and that would be nice. Unfortunately that probably wouldn't work the other way around as the British loading gauge is quite a bit smaller than North American, so US rolling stock would take out a few lineside buildings and bridges etc.
