Would you advise to maybe over exaggerate by having the alignment glide along your left thigh when hinging? I've had a laid off swing for years and I've seen instructors provide this advice to over exaggerate to feel the sensation of hinging correctly. Probably too upright for an ideal backswing but interested to hear your thoughts! Video is great!!!
Finding it so hard to get the swing path back on plane on the downswing to be able to draw the ball usually get to steep and come over the top leading to that nasty shank will try this drill any other tip to get the club to come back on the inside cheers
Really liked these explanations! Thanks so much😊

Many years ago there was a Lazar golf school.
Wait a munite -- Is there the garage and rear garden of your house???
Not my house 😅 At my local course.
Finally a simple drill on this subject...
Let me know how it goes!
but Kerry, the club should be parallel in regards to one’s chest, not the floor… correct? bc the earth isn’t flat and we swing on a tilted plane.
